Charlot shrugged again, the sounds of soft fabric rustling with the motions.
"Tch, it's alright- nothin' I can't fix should she get a bit overzealous and detatch the bell. Got plenty'mo in th'bag." He laughed a little as Sarava began pouncing on the whip end. "They break all th'time anyways. Damn annoying."
He took a deep breath, rubbing his hands together again against the cold. It was starting to drop temperature a little more. For some reason, it was a little cooler around the trailors than in the other areas. Maybe because the open torch flames weren't as prominent.
"So what d'you do here, Miz Anky'ta?"

"I do fortune telling." she said, still a bit worried about Sarava's over-activity. She periodically reached her hand out, and searched in the air for Sarava's tail. And once finding it, tugged on it softly to get her attention. Sarava would, for short moments, stop and look to her owner. She knew she wasn't in much danger since Ankita was quite the push over when it came to disciplining.
Ankita just sighed softly. "It's something that's stuck with me for a while, and apparently have gotten good at over time."

"Ah, fortunes is it?" Charlot was still watching the little critter attacking the whip end. He reached down to pet her experimentally, not wanting to get bitten if he could help it.
"Oi've never had me fortune read." He glanced up before petting Sarava. "Y'think you could read me mine?"
Maybe this was the first step to finding a cure for his curse. Who knew it would be this easy? Hell, if she could tell him ANYTHING it would be worth getting it read.

Ankita shrugged and nodded. She was off the clock, but she decided to just do it to be kind. She snapped her fingers at Sarava, "EH!", she said quickly and loudly to catch her attention. "Go get my mantra." she said, snapping her fingers 3 times. Sarava looked somewhat sad since it meant her fun time would be over. She went over to the trailer door, looking for the tiny lever which stuck out that Ankita had placed so that she could move freely from in and out of the trailer when she wanted, and grabbed it with her teeth, pulling down.
She climbed inside, and the sounds of clammering and objects falling could be heard from quite the distance. It took a few moments but Sarava returned, holding in her mouth 2 large pouches, and wrapped around her tail, another. She hopped over to Ankita, dropping them all.
"Take your pick." She said reaching out for all three bags and pooring out their contents. In one, was a collection of small broken chicken bones, another a stack of Oracle cards, and in the last, a small tea cup, with a tiny bag of tea leaves. "I can also do palm reading if you want.." though it was usually her least favorite to do since it involved slight hand fondling on her part, but she offered to be polite.

"Ah, me 'ands are a bit dirty at the moment.. so we'can skip that." He leaned forward, looking at the others. "Oi've always liked cards. 'Ow about them."
He sat back, curious to see how she would 'read' his fortune on a deck of cards. It would be quite a feat, for a blind woman. As he waited, he regathered his whip- unclipping the tiny bell from the tip to offer to Sarava.
"Funny 'ow so many little things can tell you where your lifes goin', eh?"

"The key's to not seek answers, but a suggestion to lead you on the right path." she said, picking up the deck, and holding it out before her, to where he was, hopefully, sitting. She tapped her right shoulder for Sarava to climb onto since she was a key part to doing these readings.
"Take the cards and shuffle them, don't stop until it feels quite right. Make sure to concentrate on your question as you shuffle. And we'll go from there." She said, giving a soft smile.

Concentrate on your question, eh? Charlot accepted the cards, shuffling them for a while before he felt it necessary to offer them back. He was thinking of cures for his 'curse', curious to see how accurate the cards might be in regards to it.
"That should do." He made sure to place the deck into her hands, then sit back on the ground. This was all very interesting to him. He'd seen a few fortune tellers from a far, but they all seemed pretty flashy and fake to him.

Ankita took the stack, and placed her hand ontop of it. She began taking deep breaths, one after another, after another. Until she began to place three cards infront of her. She placed the stack to her left, and gently stroked her fingers across the backs of the cards. One by one, she flipped the cards over, to reveal what lied beneath. The first of which was Three of Swords. The second - Death, and the last, The Tower.
Sarava knew her cew, and climbed down her arm and began sniffing at the cards. Different sents were placed on all the cards to help her recognize what was and what wasn't. When she figured it out, she quickly sat up, ears pirked, and began making clicking sounds. She then crawled up, over the cards and close to her face, nibbling at the end of her nose, embracing her cheeks with her long spindly fingers. Ankita sat back quickly, wincing a little, lifting her head up to him.
"You've had quite the hardship it seems... Something you're really not willing to share with the world. A pain that's become a major part of your day to day life." She said quietly. "The Death card, however, is somewhat of a good sign. It means in present time, there's a change that's occuring. However, whether you accept that change as a good or a bad, is up to you." She took a deep breath, and sighed quietly. "The last, The tower, shows that something destructive will happen that really will shake your foundation. Something that will take away whatever barriers you already hold, to help open your eyes to what actually is, and what will be."
She snorted a little.
"No pun intended." She always made an effort to make some sort of joke, no matter how bad or purely executed it may be, at the end of her readings, to help uplift the spirits of those who wish to seek answers, and might not necissarily be pleased with what is given.

Charlot let out a low whistle, eyebrows raised at all that. He lifted a hand to scratch at one ear, pondering what she'd said.
"Damn, that's a fine readin'-" A lot of what she said made sense to him already, some of it did not- but that was what the 'future' was all about. Uncertain events hitting you in the a** when you least expected it. "Thanks. I'll take it into 'siderations."
He yawned a little, feeling the effects of the days audition and paperwork taking their tole on him. He wondered how late these people stayed up, or if there was some sort of curfew that all the performers were set to. Couldn't have people falling asleep while doing a show... right?
"D'you know 'ow long we'll be 'ere for?"

Sarava snorted at him, and began pulling in all of the cards, and handed the deck to Ankita. She shuffled it, and out of habbit, began picking random cards and showing them to Sarava.
"I usually stay up pretty late.. so does Sarava. We're somewhat on the nocturnal side, I guess. Or at least I'd assume. I think ..." She said, making a somewhat puzzled expression. She always assumed they were on the nocturnal side since when they were awake, people were asleep. But for all she knows, her sleeping patterns just might be on the 'normal' side.
"If you're tired, you're free to go and still find your quarters. If you can't find 'em, my trailer door's almost always unlocked." Can't bother with pesky locks and keys, she thought to herself. Something that swings open and shut is all she needs.

"I've all but given up on finding that bloody trailor..." He murmured, shifting so he could sit with his back to the Fortune Tellers quarters. He tucked his hat into his bag before stretching his legs out with a grunt. "I'll just linger 'ere a bit, see what comes of it. If'a fall asleep, y'can consider me y'trailor gargoyle."
He pulled a piece of jerky from his bag, chewing it idly to keep himself from wanting to smoke.
"So... back to me question-" He glanced at her sidelong, wondering if she was avoiding it on purpose or misunderstood him. "'ow long we gonna be 'ere in this camp before movin' on?"

Ankita chuckled a little. "Gargoyle." she muttered under her breath, shaking her head. "Oh.. sorry... We usually stick around for a few days, maybe a week." She said, wrapping her arms tightly around Sarava, who had gotten a whiff of the jerky and was now trying to go to it. Ankita pulled her head close to hers, and started nibbling gently at her ear. "Behave."

"Ah, sounds like a good amount of days to be in one place at a time..." He popped another piece of jerky into his mouth, eyeing Sarava. "Is she u'sually this 'ungry? Oh- you want a bit of jerky?"
He had quite a bit in his bag he used for when he was traveling. It was pretty good, lightly salted. He was missing that whiskey he'd had in Scarlett's trailor.

"No, she's not." Ankita said, wrapping Sarava up in loose cloth from her sari. "She's just like this around strangers, thinks that just because she can get whatever she wants out of me. ...usually. She can probably do the same to everyone else."
Sarava began to calm down abit after having the cloth on her, and began to make soft, almost purr like noises. "Now she's calm." Ankita said, scratching Sarava's head through the fabric.

"She seems verreh well trained," He finished his dinner, putting the rest away. She hadn't said she wanted any so he figured it was safe to tuck it away. "It's safe to assume she's your eyes, eh?"
He shifted so he could raise his knees, resting his arms across them. He lifted the collar of his jacket up against the wind that floated through every once in a while.
