I have seen the first 10 or 12 episodes and I think it's a refreshing look at the story. None of them are the same. The Anime story is different, the Manga is different, the Comic is different, the Live Action is different. It makes for a nice new look at something you already know by heart. heart

I own the Act(s) 1 and 2...and I've seen a few other eps.....It's good.....I love Shibue Jyogi(Tuxedo Kamen)....he's hott.. 4laugh

I have all the episodes and the special 1 hour act now. It's really well done and surprisingly very dark and depressin by the 35 act mark. If anyone likes Sailormoon, they will like the Live Action.

I just transfered the entire series onto discs.. sweatdrop but this link has access to the torrents. while I prefer the anime (mostly because I love Haruka and Michiru) I do like the live action. it had a very interesting story line and it acctually kept on task for most of the show. Dark Mercury is deffininately one of the best characters and well the live actions gives yuri lovers alot of Rei/Minako action provided we have our yurigoggles on.
Truefully as far as I know the Live action takes alot of it's material from the Sailor V manga as well as hack slashing everything else. And it is more geared toward children then the manga and anime, it just makes it easier for us non japanese speakers to understand the meaning of words.

The childish ways of Usagi, as well as the heart-touching moments. wink This is coming from someone who has only seen a couple of the episodes, though. ^^

Mamoru-chan is sure hot. ^_~ They made them plushies so that it would be more realistic. (ie: able to bring them places where animals aren't allowed and so that people don't think it's weird they have a cresent moon on their forehead). Sailor Mercury becomes evil, not goth. And I agree about the guys - except when Nephrite becomes human - than he's hot. And the Crown employee guy (name escapes me for a moment) is hot too.
