Pocahontas was the first movie I ever saw in the theater! I was five then, but I ended up being Pocahontas one year after that for Halloween. My mother made the costume and it turned out rather well now that I look back at the pictures. My hair used to be REALLY long and oddly enough strait and even though I had bangs, I pulled her off well, lol.
The second movie I didn't really like either. My best friend, he father, and me went to this resort one time and just watched Lion King 1 1/2 and we got to talking about how sequals were hardly ever good. I brought that I thought the second was not very good, and they were slightly offended because they are decendents from Pocahontas and John Raulf (I think that is his name)... Oops... Lol.

John Rolf, yeah. Really? So they're decendents from the real Pocahontas? That's cool! Such a rich history.

I love Pocahontas! My friends and I sing those songs all the time. The second movie wasn't all that great. There was some funny parts, and I loved John Rolfs housekeeper person, Mrs. Jinkens (spelling?). She's great.

Good memories. I have a button shirt of Pocahontas that I couldn't wear in my youth. I, uh, needed to fill it out first if you get my meaning. I might wear it in the coming week since I haven't worn it in a long, long time. After watching the movie I was hyper over Thomas. Christian Bale captured my heart then.
Am I the only person who liked the sequel?

randomchic yeh this is a great movie, and i love the music and everything i wasnt impressed with the 2nd one though. I've been watching the first one like crazy lately so my sister and I decided to watch the second one. It ruined the whole Pocahontas experience! *mumbles* shouldv'e stuck with John Smith

I haven't seen the sequel yet, but I'm not really interested to.

I like Pocahontas. To me that's one of the best love stories they had in Disney.
