As far as i can say, the DB/DBZ Series was by far the best, due to its simple yet effective storyline. They lure you in with the quests of the Dragonballs but you almost get attached to the characters, as you can relate to each one for many various ways, such as Vegeta being overly proud and strong willed (Until faced against Broly xD)
The DBGT series was 'ok' but a let down, the art work was amazing, you cant knock that but it was the influence of Akira Toriyama that the show lacked, as Dan rightfully said!

Exactly.
Ever wonder why the games for DBZ are so good?
Normally Akira Toriyama has direct influence with them. He's a real live genius!!!
He makes Dragonball (Z) what it is, if you get this one's meaning. Without him the show lacked mystical qualities that made it so fasinating.

I like DBZ better also. The whole thing in DBGT was just like fighting and at the end the little gray thing comes and it was the only part I remember a lot through the whole story....
My fave character is....SS3 Gotenks or Vegito (And all the characters that make them) How come nobody has said anything about them throughout the whole thread?!?!?!?!?!

to be brutally honest this one thought that the introduction of fusion to the Majin buu saga kinda ruined it slightly. Also Gotenks just annoyed this one, as he really wasn't that powerful, and just wnated to make a prat out of himself.
Also the way in which super sayajin three was achieved by gotenks remains a mystery, especially as it doesn't appear that Trunks or Goten could ascend that high anyway. Something about that just didn't fit.
Perhaps it's just this one being a die hard DragonBall fan who thought the story went a bit weird after the Cell battle. But the inrtoduction of buu wasn't anywhere near as good as the previous sagas before it.

Is one of my favorites anime. I think is great and you get very attach to the characters since you see them grow. I love that has good fights and good humor. It's a great anime and I don't have a friend who doesn't know what Dragon Ball is even if they don't like anime.
Goku is the best!!
