LittleRaverJoey AT often has a bad rep, but in reality we are all very nice people, and just because our avatars have to look a certain way doesnt mean all of Gaia has to conform. There is one basic rule though, don't argue a rate, you did, after all, ask for opinions 3nodding yeah, it isn't as bad as it seems. i went in there today and it was just ''rate my avi'' and ''tektek me''. i got bored of it really fast because there wasn't anything to talk about, so i left. sweatdrop

Yeah, at the time that was all we had. Then when multi-hat avatar mode was released tektek came into power. Back then tektek was terribly glitchy and many of the items were bugged.

I come from the gorgeously intelligent land of the Morality and Religion subforum. We are the most elitest forum, and we are proud of being elite. We are not stuck-up, because we will welcome anyone with intelligence and a good working knowledge of logcial fallacies in with open arms. The stupid are not tolerated well. My homeland thrives on intelligence, and an adherance to debating rules. The rules are very important for the good nature of my homeland to be perserved. Debating is what we do. We also have fun in our debates, and much learning takes place. It is a place of great enjoyment to those who like to learn, and to those who like to debate. I enjoy all the many people I would call friends who post there regulary, and all of the great points that they make. I also enjoy contributing my opinion. It's a lot of fun! The Morality and Religion forum kicks a**! xd

Allow me to demonstrate a typical M&R-dweller's post. SoundDoctrine I come from the gorgeously intelligent land of the Morality and Religion subforum. As opposed to the not-quite-gorgeously-intelligent inhabitants. SoundDoctrine We are the most elitest forum, As opposed to the most grammatically correct. SoundDoctrine and we are proud of being elite. That's something like Jeffery Dahmer being proud of his cooking. And I'm not a fascist. SoundDoctrine because we will welcome anyone with intelligence ST17LOL. SoundDoctrine and a good working knowledge of logcial fallacies in with open arms. Odd Decision, ST17LOL, tererun. SoundDoctrine The stupid are not tolerated well. ST17LOL, tererun. SoundDoctrine My homeland thrives on intelligence, Right, and redundancy to boot. SoundDoctrine and an adherance to debating rules. ST17LOL, tererun. SoundDoctrine The rules are very important for the good nature of my homeland to be perserved. Shaviv. That was so cold...Unless you're an intelligent outsider, in which case you're on ST17LOL patrol. I cite Jaaten Syric, Chiewn, and myself. SoundDoctrine We also have fun in our debates, and much learning takes place. Yes, if you consider "Behavior of Trolls 101, Prof. Draven" to be a viable class. SoundDoctrine It is a place of great enjoyment to those who like to learn, ST17LOL. SoundDoctrine and to those who like to debate. Odd Decision. Oh, wait, I just supported you. s**t. xd SoundDoctrine I enjoy all the many people I would call friends who post there regulary, I really can't say anything, 'cause I agree.SoundDoctrine and all of the great points that they make. ST17LOL.SoundDoctrine I also enjoy contributing my opinion. "Opinion" is such a fragile word in ED. Yeah...so is drinking until you puke your own liver up, or so I've heard. But you don't see me doing that often. Oh wait...yes, yes you do.SoundDoctrine The Morality and Religion forum kicks a**! xd As long as it's not mine. The above post is intended as satire, and in no way constitutes the official opinion of Mr. Cougar Draven. Mr. Draven actually thinks that SoundDoctrine is "b25lIHJlYWwgY29vbCBjaGljaw==", in his words. Mr. Draven also says to Mr. Shaviv, "01010000 01101100 01100101 01100001 01110011 01100101 01000111 01101111 01100100 01100100 01101111 01101110 00100111 01110100 01100010 01100001 01101110 01101101 01100101 01001001 00100111 01101100 01101100 01101110 01100101 01110110 01100101 01110010 01110011 01100001 01111001 01101001 01110100 01100001 01100111 01100001 01101001 01101110 01001001 01110011 01110111 01100101 01100001 01110010 00100001 00100001 00100001"

Okay, now that that's out of the way. (Read the disclaimer, by the way. It's at the end of the previous post.)
I hail from ED. I had thought for a while that I might have made moderator soon. These hopes of mine were dashed when I found out recently that an erroneous post, a post I made at an early hour, and quite likely one I made whilst drunk, was deleted, and a formal warning put on my record. That means I shall never moderate, or even help out at, ED.
That's good for most of you, really. I'm a d**k most of the time, and when I moderate, something I've done from time to time over the course of the past six years, it just gets worse.
But since I'm not a mod, expect my sarcastic wit to pervade ED for quite some time.
I also enjoy hanging out in the Essence of ED, and the Grunge Guild of Gaia. I'm in nine other guilds besides those (and this one, of course), but I have a post count of less than a dozen at most, and under a hundred at the others.
All in all, I'm around three thousand posts of insanity and general me.

Cougar Draven Allow me to demonstrate a typical M&R-dweller's post. xd 'twas a pretty freaking awesome example! Now I must demonstrate a typical M&R-dweller's rebuttal. Quote: SoundDoctrine I come from the gorgeously intelligent land of the Morality and Religion subforum. As opposed to the not-quite-gorgeously-intelligent inhabitants. As if most of the inhabitants aren't intelligent. rolleyes The regulars are intelligent, and the place is supposed to be intelligent, and if you are asserting that saying,"the gorgeously intelligent land" is opposed to saying,"the not-quite-gorgeously-inteligent inhabitants", and that "the not-quite-gorgeously-intelligent inhabitants" would be the correct thing to say, please prove that "the not-quite-gorgeously-intelligent inhabitants" would be the right thing to say. Also, by using the word "inhabitants" you make a blanket statement and a hasty generalization of the inhabitants of the Morality and Religion forum as a whole. Please prove that all the inhabitants of the Morality and Religion forum are not-quite-gorgeously-intelligent. Quote: SoundDoctrine We are the most elitest forum, As opposed to the most grammatically correct. Wow. I totally missed that. I can't believe I missed that. Man, I'm kinda shocked right now.Allow me to clarify. That was not a grammatical error, it was a spelling error. I meant to type,"We are the most elit ist forum. Quote: SoundDoctrine and we are proud of being elite. That's something like Jeffery Dahmer being proud of his cooking. rofl Point well taken. I feel slow now. I didn't know you were a fascist.Quote: SoundDoctrine because we will welcome anyone with intelligence ST17LOL. Intelligence? Let me give you my definition of intelligence. Merriam-Webster 1 a (1) : the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations : REASON; also : the skilled use of reason (2) : the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one's environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria (as tests) b Christian Science : the basic eternal quality of divine Mind c : mental acuteness : SHREWDNESS 2 a : an intelligent entity; especially : ANGEL b : intelligent minds or mind 3 : the act of understanding : COMPREHENSION 4 a : INFORMATION, NEWS b : information concerning an enemy or possible enemy or an area; also : an agency engaged in obtaining such information 5 : the ability to perform computer functionsI assert that ST17LOL is not intelligent, because an user whom I would consider intelligent, based on the enlarged definitions above, would have been reasonable enough to understand what many of us have tried to explain to him, but yet, he hasn't. He keeps coming back, making the same arguments, and falling to prove them. Quote: SoundDoctrine and a good working knowledge of logcial fallacies in with open arms. Odd Decision, Ad hominems for the win. Burden of proof/shifting burden of proof/appeal to authority, and probably many more, for the win. I've never personally dealt with tererun, so I cannot comment. Quote: SoundDoctrine The stupid are not tolerated well. ST17LOL, tererun. Are not tolerated well. Quote: SoundDoctrine My homeland thrives on intelligence, Right, and redundancy to boot. Put up or shut up. I had to put that in there. What would M&R be like without that little phrase?Quote: SoundDoctrine and an adherance to debating rules. ST17LOL, tererun. Strawman. "My homeland thrives..." I hold that ST17LOL and tererun, with their trolling, are not enabling the M&R to thrive well. Quote: SoundDoctrine The rules are very important for the good nature of my homeland to be perserved. Shaviv. That was so cold... It was, but man, that makes a good counterpoint.Damn. Conceeded. Quote: Unless you're an intelligent outsider, in which case you're on ST17LOL patrol. I cite Jaaten Syric, Chiewn, and myself. You would cite Jaaten and Chiewn as outsiders? I think that they post too much in M&R to be considered outsiders, but you don't post enough in M&R, so I suppose I'll let you call yourself an outsider. I assert that in saying,"we", I was talking about people who I would consider M&R regulars, so any outsiders are automatically excluded. Also, proof that outsiders do not debate, or that they are on ST17LOL patrol. Please do not make blanket statements of outsiders, or hasty generalizations of what they do. Quote: SoundDoctrine We also have fun in our debates, and much learning takes place. Yes, if you consider "Behavior of Trolls 101, Prof. Draven" to be a viable class. Do not assert that class to be the only one in which learning takes place, and if you are asserting that, please prove that assertion. I think that there are many things that can be learned in M&R.Quote: SoundDoctrine It is a place of great enjoyment to those who like to learn, ST17LOL. Please prove that the existence of ST17LOL and his threads automatically makes the M&R forum as a whole not a place of great enjoyment to those who like to learn. I assert that even though trolls are annoying and definitely not enjoyable to most, that the M&R is still a place of great enjoyment to those who like to learn, such as myself. Quote: SoundDoctrine and to those who like to debate. Odd Decision. Oh, wait, I just supported you. s**t. xd xd Quote: SoundDoctrine I enjoy all the many people I would call friends who post there regulary, I really can't say anything, 'cause I agree. Yay!Quote: SoundDoctrine and all of the great points that they make. ST17LOL.Note that I said," all the mant people I would call friends". I would not call ST17LOL my friend. Quote: SoundDoctrine I also enjoy contributing my opinion. "Opinion" is such a fragile word in ED. True, true. I'll add onto my assertion then. I assert that I also enjoy contributing my well-supported opinion. Quote: Yeah...so is drinking until you puke your own liver up, or so I've heard. But you don't see me doing that often. Oh wait...yes, yes you do.Prove that M&R is as fun as drinking until you puke your own liver up. Quote: SoundDoctrine The Morality and Religion forum kicks a**! xd As long as it's not mine. As shown here? blaugh Quote: The above post is intended as satire, and in no way constitutes the official opinion of Mr. Cougar Draven. Mr. Draven actually thinks that SoundDoctrine is "b25lIHJlYWwgY29vbCBjaGljaw==", in his words. SoundDoctrine 'twas a pretty freaking awesome example! Indeed it was.Honestly...I'd continure the satire, but I really think a further point can be had. I just unlocked the secret to effectively dealing with ST17LOL. Perhaps not Odd Decision, since any debate that she and I are in immediately descends into flame warring within five posts. And definitely not tererun, since if the combined forces of Elfy and myself couldn't do it on her level, it can't be done. She's an intelligent troll, they're the best (or worst) kind. ST17LOL is nowhere near intelligent, and that's his problem. My problem is an obsession with Roy Orbison, but that's totally another story. I think I'll start posting in M&R more often. I usually stick to ED in the main, but I delve into all the subs.

I work most of my time in the ED and the TTG Sub of VGD. I enjoy TTG the most because I get so little of it in real life anymore, and that sorrows me to a great extent.
