Faceless Killa lOlLy_PoPs_4_eVeRyOnE Faceless Killa lOlLy_PoPs_4_eVeRyOnE They don't have a keyboard. Just electric Guitar, drums bass & vocal. Though their vocalist does sometimes play acoustic. Sorry I was thinking of HIM. Do not insult the band. They are nothing like HIM. HIM are turning in to sell-outs. The Rasmus are not. HIM has been selling out for a while, almost ever since they've let Bam Marger be their public relations. Yep; thats why I prfer TR to HIM. TR won't sell out, they've already said they will always try to be as Finnish as possible.

You know the saying, "Never say never" well, I know that there is not a high possibility but there is a slight chance for them to sell out because anything America touches, becomes a sell out. Just take a gander at Children of Bodom or Dimmu Borgir.

I doubt it; I haven't seen them cave on anything yet. They released Hide from the sun in america over a year ago and they haven't changed in the slightest bit. They got a load of slack from the UK when they first released coz of their image but that hasn't changed. Well, apart from a few of them grew their hair, but comes from touring and not being able to get a decent hair-cut.
I doubt that they're a sell out band.

Selling out takes a few years and album before it truly happens but there are always small steps to it. Like what Avenged Sevenfold did with the release of City of Evil.

Well not really cursing or anything but rather predictions of what more than likely will happen because if something is catchy and really simply written then those kinds of music are the easiest to sell out. Or something that no one's every heard of (i.e. Love Metal) becomes popular trends.
But things like DEATH Metal or anything completely heavy or abusive like Cannibal Corpse will never sell out because not everyone would like them or their sound. So far HIM, Children of Bodom, and Dimmu Borgir have all sold out not to mention the oldest other country sell out band, Rammstein.

When a group of people or even just the one person says something like 'they'll sell out' then it can be taken as a curse if enough people start beleiving it.
I wouldn't say the lyrics are written simply; what do you honestly think, say in the shadows is all about?
It's not actually on shadows, it's about breaking out of depression. Lucifers angel?-based on the legends of witches in Finland, not about angels. of Lucifer.
The best thing to do with their songs is to take it at face value rather than to go into what it's about coz you'll just end up either confusing your self or losing the true meaning of the song.
Like I said, I wouldn't say it was too simply written.

Not that it's simply written but rather in an intriguing way that sounds like something interesting.

I suppose it all depends on the light you take to look at any band. If you immedeately decide your going to hate them then chances are you will, if you take no opinion on any band then you decide if you like them or not over a period of time.

I personally am a very open person to all kinds of music because I'm a musician myself so I know the difficulties of writting music.

I'm just a lyricist, so I suppose know how difficult it is to write a song, though I don't know about the music. I can't really agree with you on that one.
I wish people would have a more open attitude, I mean yours is good but it's near impossible to meet anyone else who thinks in a similar way.

Well that's because you'll never meet someone who things exactly like you, if you did then that'd be really weird and kinda creepy. That single element is what defines us as being human and not machine, but rather having the choice and capacity to say you dislike something when another person can say they like it. It's the human element aspect.

Now did I say the same or similar?
I think you'll find I said similar. There's a difference between simial and the same.
