He pauses and imagines it in his head. "I'll do what I can." He shoves his hands into his pockets, and walks over to the empty bed. He looks at the bed and mutters something under his breath and the sheets change. "There you go."

Kamui lifted his head slightly and watched this in quiet curiousity. His eyes seemed to reflect a strange amount of emotion in contrast to his mannerisms. He blinked a few times and then laid his head down on his pillow once again, sighing deeply.

Gemini pumped his fist into the air when Satoshi changed his sheets. "Sah-weet!" he crowed gleefully. "Thanks so much, man!" Gemini lept unceremoniously upon his now-attractive bed, getting the feel of it. It was... well, it worked well enough. Guess there's only so much you can expect from boarding school beds... Gemini thought, lamenting it a little. Still, at least it was a bed.
Gemini turned his head, his strange eyes meeting Kamui's. Gem smiled over at him. "What, you want pretty sheets too?" he asked, a twinkle of laughter in his eyes. "You'll have to ask Satoshi here; he's the glamour-mage." The mixbreed gestured towards Satoshi as he spoke, still grinning.

He chuckles. "Its just a small spell my mother taught me when I was younger." He sits down on his own bed. "So what brings you here to this school?"

Kamui kept his eyes on the celing again, not answering Gemini. He didn't want different sheets. The color of his sheets had never entered his mind, save for the initial sight of cantrast between Satoshi's sheets and his own.
He seemed to embody the word "pensive".

"Well, it's a neat trick then," Gemini said with a saucy smile. There was a moment of silence after Satoshi asked his question, a moment in which Gemini scowled slightly with sad eyes. "I... had to. Parents made me," he muttered, his green eye flashing a little bit as he spoke. Gemini sighed, then closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he brought his smile back as well.
"What about you? Here for any reason?" the mix-blood asked, leaning his head on his hand.

"Well, I was sent here to look after my half sister." He sighs. "She tends to jump into things and well..get into trouble." He looks up at the ceiling. "That's all."

Gemini's eyes just... died, a little. There had been a light in there before that seemed to have retreated for the moment. Closed down. "Noble of ye," Gemini muttered, still smiling a little. He shook his head, a lock of white hair falling over his left eye, leaving only the brown one visible.
Gemini looked... out. Just out. Like he saw something a million miles away. "What's her name?" he asked, voice quiet and a little hollow. It wasn't so much about his sister - Gemini was just trying not to make any in-dorm enemies for now. It was... something entirely different, but still painful.

He looks over at his roommate. "If you do not wish to talk about my sister it is fine." He looks up again. "To be honest, she disgusts me." He sighs and shakes his head. "Forgive me, I am too open with my statements."

"Or just honest. If you're disgusted, you're disgusted," Gemini stated with a wan smile and a shrug. "Shame you don't get along, though. Family's nice." At least... It can be, the strange mixbreed continued in his head. Maybe Satoshi had a different experience with family. Everyone seemed to, after all.

Kamui blinked and slowly sat up, turning to face the two. He sat with his left leg crossed under his right knee and his right leg hanging off the side of the bed, his hands propping himself up against his crossed leg. He seemed interested as soon as he had heard Gemini's thoughts concerning family. They seemed to both have bad experiences.
"It certainly can be..." '...though that can just make things worse later.'

"Sounds a whole lot like people's opinions on everything else," Gemini said, laughing a little. He wasn't one to stay down long, not if he could help it. "And hey, Kamui." Gemini gave him a skewed but wry look. "Readin' my thoughts?" the hybrid asked, stretching one long wing as he did. He smiled. "IIIII'm watchin' you," Gemini finished, tone joking. He pointed at Kamui as he spoke, mocking the typical overzealous cop voice and gesture.

Gemini waved his hand, smiling. "Eh, not like there're too many secrets runnin' around in my head anyway. I doubt you'll find anything you couldn't ask me about," the hybrid said with a smile. It was true, too. Gemini didn't like keeping secrets, so he usually just answered whatever questions people asked. And even if Kamui *was* a mind-reader... Well, Gemini highly doubted he'd get to anything too dangerous. Kaelem wouldn't let him, he was sure.
"What about you, Sato?" Gemini asked, turning to his other roomie. "Got any creepy, mind-effecting powers that I should know about?" Gemini grinned sloppily, brushing a hair out of his face as he did. This might be a good year after all, he thought with an inner grin.
