I've had some very lucid (and often frightening or nonsensical) dreams lately, but I often forget everything about them - other than bits and pieces - within hours. A few dreams have stuck with me because they had a profound effect on my emotions when they occured. So I figured I'd take part in this class. I'd just rather not share all of my dreams with the general public unless I'm sharing one that's particularly interesting. sweatdrop

Besides, I see that some parts regarding meditation and visualization follow and I seriously need to work on that.

^_^ you don't have to share anything at all, the only things ask of you in this class is post your experince of result of what happen when you tried it. What did you notice and such ^_^ (even thought I am interested nonethe less)

So basically, at least for this lesson, we write down the date of our dream, contents of the dream, and such, and then we post what we found after three weeks. Is that correct, teacher?

That's happened to me before. Like, I remember that I woke up in the middle of one of my many falling dreams, then went back to sleep and kept falling. Creepy...

Yes, the minimum of at least 3 weeks, even if 3 weeks is up, you should still continue keeping the diary.

I actually have a lot of dreams, and some I remember very well. Some are lucid some aren't. Many of them are recurring or continuations, and in that dream I remember old dreams as though they were actual events. I also have alot of strange staircases that I'm scared to ascend or descend because they break off at weird points. Very much like that Sarah Winchester house.

Yeah! And it just continued! Almost as if it was a "To Be Continued" TV show!

I've actualy been keeping a dream diary on and off for about 5 years. It's only got a few in it because I never remember to write them down. My problem is I get scattered details a lot and I can't remember it always in order, so should I just write it as I remember it? The only other problem I have is my alarm clock...it just likes to make me forget everything I was dreaming about. >.<

I feel a little bit akwrad writing down my dreams. I can remember most easily(at least the main points) , and it's it's a particualrly happy one I do write it down.

Any suggestions of getting out of my akwardness?

Write down whatever you remember, being in orders is not exactly the point. It is to increase your memories of remembering your dreams.

That's why in the steps 1. I said to put some paper or notepad and a pen or pencil. So as soon as you wake up you can jot it down really quick.

I suggest write down the happy or unhappy one down. Maybe in the future you get to the bigger pictures with details. I don't really have any suggestion of how to get out of the awkwardness of your's. But, I would say, try to understand why you feel that way. Perhaps afraid someone might read it? Afraid what you might find out? Etc...
