Naenre's eyes lit up, "Who?" she asked, coming to stand next to Jarlaxle, an eagerness in her eyes. "It wouldn't be someone to make things more interesting around here, would it?" Nalfein just rolled his eyes.

"You must forgive me for having a meal." Drizzt said wih a slight smile. "I have not eaten lately and I am rather hungry. I fear I could not wait until dinner tonight, though... the meal I ordered was rather small." In fact, the drow had finished eating it before Tamlin had sat down.

Wudandre smiled as a familiar presence filled her scences, her eyes scanning the road she was upon, her scowl growing, Calimport was the cesspot of all cesspots of rotting humanity, in all the places see had been to in her long life, this had to be the worst, in fact she mused with a little smile, it made the abyss look much more orderly and appealing ... well only by a little.
But one figure stood out to her, the faint sparkle of light catching the hilt of a jeweled dagger affirming her beliefs ... it was Artemis Enteri, maybe it was time she had a talk with the assassin as she felt that like herself he was on the verge of the greatest change any one person could do.
Moving away from a live he knew, as she was trying to do also.
-------------------
Catti-Brie smiled as she watched the group from afair, pulling together a little story in her mind as she moved closer, Drizzt would want to know why she had followed him and she knew that the best answer was always the truth, that she was bored and things always seemed to happen when Drizzt was around.
For some reason being in the mines was more dull of late, well no more then usuall but she found she wanted to be out in the open excersising her leg, it needed it though it was still slightly sore from the healing injury she had aquired not so long ago.
Moving over she was sure that Drizzt had seen her long before she arrived at the table, never the less she gave a polite cough "I hope I'm not inturupting anything"

Drizzt's lavender eyes displayed his happiness, perhaps even more than the smile on his face. "Not at all." he spoke, standing and taking a chair from a nearby unoccupied table for the woman. "Catti-brie, this is Tamlin. He was to meet with Lady Alustriel tonight, the same as I. But... what are you doing here? Should you not be back at Mithril Hall?"

"Greetings Talim, it is a pleasure to meet you" she smiled at Talim as she took the chair had pulled out for her, heavily favouring her uninjured leg through the movement and settling herself squarely in the seat "As for me being here Drizzt I was bored, this beats laying in bed with an over protective father ordering me to rest" Catti-Brie rolled her eyes, she had healed long ago, even the healers saw that she needed excersise to compleate her recovery, but since her injury Bruenor had been a little more protective then usuall toward her.

Drizzt smiled slightly, "I can not blame you for that." he replied, waving over a tavern girl to get Catti-brie something to drink. "This is partially why I decided to visit the Lady. Not only will I be able to relate to her what happened with Obould, but also to get out of the mines." he sighed slightly, "I have no qualm with them, but it is rather boring."

Catti-Brie nodded her head, auburn locks swaying slightly, Alustriel needed to be kept updated with what was going on, everything seemed to me complecated then what it really was and she felt horrible that she couldn't help much in her current state. "I agree they do get dull, even for me ... though I have been stuck inside for far longer then I would have liked"

Drizzt laughed, "I only hope that Bruenor does not send a search party out after you. If he knows you are with me, he would feel better... I think." the drow fixed her with a stare that demanded honesty. "You did leave him word of where you went, right?"

"Of course I did Drizzt, I didn't wan'ta upset ma pa" She smiled at Drizzt as she assured him she had left word to her father of where she was going and whom she was with, no doubt her father would calm down once he realised she was with Drizzt ... the drow would look after her.

Drizzt smiled in relief, "I would have hated to return and gotten an earful of one of Bruenor's lectures. Course... I may still get one at this rate."

Tamlin laughed merrily at Drizzt and Cattie-brie's conversation. "Forgive me, but I think I'll be taking your father's side, Lady Cattie-brie, though, I suppose that comes from being a father myself, several times over. If you ever have children someday, you'l realize you just might end up going bald from pulling your hair out," he said playfully. --------------
"If we play our hands right, the possibilties are unlimited," Jarlaxle said teasingly,"It would seem we are not the only drow in this fair city." --------
Wiht his nitemare statue tucked safetly into his pouch, and entered the taver, He thought he caught movement out of the corner of his eye and marked it well as he pushed open teh door of the tavern.

Naenre looked at Jarlaxle in confusion, "Kimmuriel?" she asked, "But... why would he be here?"
~~~
Drizzt secretly felt as if he blushed at the comment, his mind taking him back to not so long ago... In truth, the drow was still torn on the subject, but he knew better then to let Tamlin know this by any expression. "Bruenor worries too much sometimes." the drow spoke with a smile. "Catti-brie is quite capable of holding her own."
"Hardly," Jarlaxle said with a dismissive wave of his hand, "No, no, Kimmuriel would not come to the surface world like such. Nor does he have such beautifully purple eyes, or a fondess for great black hunting cats." ---------
Tamlin laughed again and wagged a finger playfully, "Mark my words, you'll be singing a differnt tune when you have children of your own. They could be the best fighters in the world, or have magic to rival Alustrial herself and still their woudl be that urge to tie them to a chair and make sure they never leave your sight."
Drizzt smiled, "Would that my parents had felt the same way." Though the drow knew that his father had loved him... the Matron Mother could have cared less if he lived or died. Especially after the hell he put them through. It mattered little now of course, for they were all dead.
~~~
"You must be joking." Naenre spoke, her face controting in confusion and surprise. "Drizzt Do'Urden? Here? What will you do, Jarlaxle?"

Tamlin sobered a bti at that remark, and he studied teh drow before him closely. On top of being father and grandfather several times over, Tamlin very much lived for children. His shops were always crawling with little ones of everywhere. He taught them, played with them, helped them grow. One of teh few things in life the elf felt strongly about was parents hurtign their children in anyway. A cruel hand raised against any child struck a deep chord in Tamlin's heart. But he woudl not force Drizzt into furtehr discussion of what was sure to be some painful memories. So, the elf tactically switched subjects.
"So, if my sources are to be believed, you are here to discuss the situation with Obuld and his Kingdom of Many-Arrows, correct?" he asked

Drizzt smiled once more, "You change the topic as if I would be offended by any questions." he sighed, "But yes, I am here to discuss that. The Lady needs an accurate account of what occured."
