DG , Ananda, and I , are all in this guild that promotes deflating market prices for the items sold in the marketplace. So, we don't like items marked up for 1,000,000 gaia gold that forbid newbies from ever having unless they've been here for years.

Ah. I would've clicked and been in happy lollipop world with the joining and whatnot, but... sweatdrop Lack of linkies made that hard. XD

I love Poe and the only one I can't stand reading is The Black Cat. The first time I read it was in this illustrated copy and it traumatized me.

Now, whenever I read it I get this mental image of the illustration of the Black Cat sitting on top of his wife's head. O_o

Oh my God. D: Who the fluck would illustrate that story? Freaks. >_>

But yeah, I can see why you might not enjoy that one so thoroughly.

Yeah, I'm trying to get better at providing links. Actually I did provide some for a contest that AiR was sponsoring i put them up in the adobe (general chat) forum (and on the main forum message boards) and everyone seemed to over look the thread like it had a beam that shifted light around it (read: invisible.. which by the way.. exists now.. it was discovered a month ago.. sci fi is now reality !)

Here's a linky to AiR itself and if your veddy veddy interested give designergrl (Readers Refuge vice captain) and she is a mod over there as well.. and I'm sure she has loads of info fer yas heart

In general, I'm fine with them. However, I know that should I ever come across a black cat with one eye and a splotch of white on it chest (or without the splotch, even, now that i think about it) I will run away screaming my head off. THE TERROR!!

There are two things that make it worse.

(1) It was from a school library stare

and (2) it wasn't the only story. The entire book was a mini illustrated Poe anthology. Scary thought, I know.
