There wasn't anything up her sleeve, not because she couldn't do anything but simply she didn't want to at the moment. There would have been nothing to neaturalize in the first place simply she could have simply sucked his energy if she so desired but as mentioned previously, he amused her for the moment.
"Sure..." the smirk remaining on her face as she shrugged, her own flat tone returning to her beautfiul face. "Sounds....interesting" knowing full well that Morgan's would run rampant with rumors once more if she stepped inside so shortly after leaving. Something unprecedented in the small town.
Dusting her hand off after helping him up, she walked back to the tavern without another look, swinging the doors open and lifting two fingers towards Morgan's well aware of the welcome she would get as she slid into a booth. Tijae crossed her arms and leaned forward "So...Michael" the smirk still flitting across her lips "What brings you to Gitlairn?"

"Honestly...?"
Michael leaned back in his seat after sliding into the booth in the seat opposite her, his face calm and blank. White hair fell about his face as he inclined his head slightly, dark eyes sliding shut before they could look at his hands which were crossed casually on the table. He was afraid if he looked at the gauntlets he might reveal his true purpose, and he didn't know her good enough for that.
The corner of his mouth turning up just slightly in a slight smirk, he chuckles quietly and says, "The trout."

Her chest vibrated as Tijae, tried unsucessful to hold back the deep chuckle that rumbled in her body at the words he spoke. "Then you have a death wish more than most people who come here" slipping a gold coin to Morgan as he set down two lagers of ale. The bar owner stumbled backwards at the unaccostumed sound coming from the beautiful young woman's lips.
She glanced over at Morgan, her eyes narrowing dangerously as he stumbled further backing away from them both quickly scrambling as if she was a devil herself. With a drink from her cup, her tongue darted out to lick her lips as she thought for a moment. "However for some reason I think you are lying....." the smirk slowly coming back on her face "wanna tell me the real reason?"

The mere presence of alcohol made Michael more relaxed, and he smiled warmly to himself as he brought the mug to his mouth- hoping instants later that she hadn't seem him do it; it made him look like an alcoholic- which, honestly, he probably was. After a drawn out drink and a deep sigh, puncuated by a small smile with closed eyes, he raises his head and slowly opens his eyes.
"Sure, don't see why not..."
Michael set down the large tankard of alcohol and sighed quietly as he started rolling up his sleeves, revealing inch by inch the gauntlets he wore on each arm. One, on his right arm, was silvery and generally smooth, marred every so often by little pairs of golden wings, and the other, on the left, was black and clawed, covered all over by jagged protrusions and small studded spikes.
With the sleeves rolled up all the way, the bands of silver and black metal about his upper arms could be seen, the scarred tissue around them evident. Torn, white, and ragged skin shown dully in the faint light, evidence of scars healed over dozens of times- as if someone had tried to hack through the arm. Smiling weakly, he gestures with his arms and flexes his fingers a couple of times.
"I'm trying to get these things off... as of yet I've been unsuccessful."

A quirked eyebrow, vaguely interesting if a bit puzzling "Why..." her finger tracing the liquid on the rim of the stone glass. " would you come here for that? unless you want your arms ripped off along with them" the appendage coming to her lips as she sucked the ale off the tip while waiting for an answer.
Under the table her ankles crossed while her slim body leaned back and she looked at him, simply waiting on an answer, Tijae may or may not be able to assist him in his venture....if it intrigued her enough.

"I didn't necessarily come HERE, it was just on the way..."
Most guys would have noticed some of the sensual things that 'Kitten' was doing, albeit unintentionally- maybe -but not Michael. The young man had kind of lost heart for anything pertaining to the other sex in his late teens, figuring his wings and tail made him too much of a mutant for anyone to find attractive. It was kind of pathetic, but he'd pretty much lost all hope.
Leaning his right elbow on the table, chin resting in his palm, Michael gazes blankly at the table while absentmindedly fiddling with the handle of his mug, trying to sort through his thoughts. He wasn't quite sure WHERE he was going, just that he was going. Any place was better than home.
"I don't know... I guess I'm just wandering until I find an answer. It's got to be out there somewhere."
Still staring at the table, he starts drumming the fingers on his left hand, the claws on the gauntlet making little holes in the table upon impact.

Another quirk of the lips at his words, such an simple view of life it seemed. "wandering in life gets you no where and even more pain then having a goal, child" grasping the handle of the cup and taking another swallow as her green eyes dimmed and she looked down into her ale for a moment, a slightly wistful glance about her countance.
There wasn't really much more to say to him, so she finished her brew and slid out of the booth and stood, ready to stride out. She couldn't help him and he didn't appear to be the kind of man she was looking for so she had more important things to attend to. He had however been a sweet boy, something so very rare so she treated him with a small true smile and a wave "Good luck to you then Michael, I wish you well on your journey" before turning and heading out of the Tavern once more.

Without even moving his eyes from the table, watching 'Kitten' in the reflection of the ale, Michael raises the dark-gauntleted hand, but doesn't wave it- just letting the raised hand and a mumbled, "Bye..." show his recognition of her departure. It had been fun, but she was a little bit too high-and-mighty for the angelic devil. He slowly lowered his hand and went back to his staring, hoping that maybe an answer could be found in the grain of the wood.
Ah well... at least she had bought him some booze. Kudos.

What to do now, she still wasn't really sure. There should be more 'visitors' to their little village. Surely the repuatation hadn't scared off *all* the fighters in Gaia. There was always some idiot out there who thought he was good enough to be the best.
Shrugging it off for the moment, she headed to the Inn to talk to Morgan's wife. Perhaps she had seen someone of interest.

"You got a death wish boy?" a meaty hand slapped down on the table in front of Michael, vibrating the table and sloshing the ale in the cup in front of him. "That was Master Sammuel's pet 'Kitten'..." a nervous glance towards the door hoping the blue haired woman hadn't heard him. "He sends her out to look for the fighters for his 'tournament'" his tone giving clear that he considered it a farce, tho it supplemented his income nicely.
Having given his advice, Morgan moved away from the boy with a slight limp as he head back to the bar, laughing at the stupidity of a young boy such as himself coming to a place like Gitlairn.

Through the course of Kitten and Michael's conversation, one might have noted the glow coming off of the light and dark gauntlets was just about equal. But, as soon as Morgan slammed his hand into the table, Michael was started and he momentarily dropped his gaurd, allowing the quickest gauntlet to take control of his personality. If it was the Devil's Hand, he'd be rather... cranky... but if it was the Angel Hand, he'd be quite nice and helpful- unfortunately, the left won out.
The dark gauntlet pulsated powerfully and the angelic glove dimmed noticabley, even the lights around the young man becoming less bright. As Morgan walked away Michael turned a rather evil glare upon him and grinned, but not the calm, sedate grin as before- but a sadistic one. That of a devil. The feathers on his wings began to retract back into the thin membrane of the wings, the appendages becoming more scaley and skeletal.
Sliding out of the booth and snapping up his left hand in one smooth motion, a dark chain, which pulsated with the same dark aura as the glove, rips out of the palm of the weapon and snakes through the air towards Morgan. In the blink of an eye the chain was wrapped tightly about the fat bartender, lifting him up into the air with his arms pinned to his sides, as Michael slowly walked towards him.
With his face inches from that of the helpless bartender, the patrons of the Tavern looking on in stunned fascination, Michael cocks his head to the side and narrow his dark eyes, faint trails of dark aura trailing off of the orbs.
"What do you mean, 'pet'?"

The meaty man grasped with the chain began to shake. Morgan was frightened in a way few people could do to him. He'd never come across something like this up close and personal. "H...his personal toy..." the voice came out quivering as he hoped the boy would let him down, heights had never been his thing even if it was just a few feet. "He says jumps she asks how high.....you know?" as the bartender began praying to the spirits to get him out of this. He had lost the respect of a few customers which would mean more fights in the coming days but alive was much more important.

"Hn..."
Without another word, Michael loosens the chain and retracts it back into the dark gauntlet, allowing the fat man to drop to the ground with a meaty splat. He wasn't quite sure why the information had gotten him kind of riled up, but... it was of little consequence. The angelic devil just held Morgan's gaze with his dark eyes for a moment more, before turning and walking towards the door.
Just as he places his Angel Hand on the door to push it open, he quickly swivvels his head to the side and thrusts his face towards a man standing by the entrance, causing the fellow to fall backwards onto his butt just as Michael says, "Boo."
Grinning again, the more-demonic-than-angelic man walks out of the Tavern and recedes into the night, wandering in no particular direction.

arrow Merchant's Quarters, St Jude Chapel
The elaborate doors of the chapel burst open with such force that they swung full around and hit the walls behind them, causing the whole building to rattle slightly. An orcish woman, a grumwife to be particular, casually marched up to the altar, which a frail looking human was kneeling in the center of. Obviously, this human was a particularly devout type, one who doubtless believed his faith was his shield...he did not stir as Kahl came and towered behind him. Sighing, the grumwife placed both hands on him and gently scooted the man over, so that there was room for her to kneel as well. Still, he did not do so much as open his eyes. Were it not for the prayers being murmured from his lips, Kahl would have thought him dead.
Kneeling, and placing her short sword on the altar before her, Kahl assumed the proper posture for her own prayers. She had always been taught that one should look straight ahead, and meet the gods eyes if they chose to see you.
"Kahl thank Majenir!" the orc proclaimed loudly, her voice reverberating off the chapel walls. "She help Kahl...now Kahl help her."
Her prayers done, Kahl rose, retrieved her short sword, and patted the inflappable human on the back. "You good man. Someone kill you one day." And with those words, she strode out of the chapel, carefully closing the doors behind her.
((If anyone wants to do something with her before she leaves the chapel, feel free.))
