for me its a band i listen when i take the train late at night.
only "shine on you crazy diamond" is better for that situation.

and i played it on a b-day party from a friend.
but the background sounds sounded to weird. his sister was looking at her mobile when reality dream 2 started.

Ahah, yeah... That song actually reminds me of old demoscenemusic I used to listen to back in the 90's. I used to write music for various things with those old music software's and some of the better composers had similar themes to Reality Dream. xd

And I can imagine someone going for a cellphone when that song starts.

There was some song from Helloween - can't remember which one though - that gave me a scare when driving a car because there was something in the background of the song that sounded like the car was making a funny noise. rolleyes

IcedEarth
I saw The Wall 3 times and I can't remember a song that stayed in my mind except Another brick in the wall, but that's because Korn has covered it xp

And unfortunately, Korn is horrible. Once you start covering Pink Floyd songs, you know you're career is over. Cradle of Filth and Iced Earth covered Hallowed Be Thy Name, but at least those bands are good...

Korn's "Another brick in the wall" was probably the worst idea ever. I mean, come one!! Trying to 'beat' the old giants with a crappy cover... damn, that is a really, really stupid thing to do and only made me hate and disrespect Korn even further.

It's like some bands try to cover Queen's classics.. damn stupid!! gonk

In general, I support covers only if the band thinks they can improve the song somehow or if there is a new approach to it - but stay away of the classic epic songs! They're off-limits! stressed

I finally listened to Riverside, and it was way too mellow for me. I like them and Pink Floyd, but it is just too mellow. I am listening to a lot of Death and Thrash, so Riverside might not go too well with me right now.
