Oddly enough, I've never felt the need to pack. I think I'd just feel awkward and inadequate, personally.

My general view on packing is that it's fine and dandy for those who want to, but I don't really have much compulsion to do it for myself (though it's now a feature of most parties that when I get drunk I stick forks or beer bottles down my trousers so they protrude in a phallic manner).
For one thing, I attempted some makeshift packing with a sock, and the bulge really was quite preposterous. I can live without a lump, I reckon.

I'm the same way. It'd just feel too fake and artificial--I mean, obviously that's the point but I don't know, the whole idea makes me even more self-conscious and aware that I don't have the right parts. And obviously, I really don't want that brought to my attention (it's the same reason I'm celibate, but I'm not going to get into that one). I'd rather just wait until I can get bottom surgery--I know a lot of you aren't planning on it at all, but I am.

dinosaur, i thought that may be the case with me as well. i thought it would make me feel bad because i don't have those parts, but instead it has made me a happier person.
i don't plan on bottom surgery, so this is what will have to do for me. 3nodding
good luck with the bottom surgery, i'm sure you will be a lot happier afterwards.
