However, it occured to her that she had nothing to say. Instead, she attacked, using her quick hit ability to strike twice. With sudden fury, the peasant's calm exterior erupted, her eyes burning as she plunged her broken sword into Vesper's breast in eerie silence.

((I'm talking to Dema online and explaining the system. I thought it was wiser to roll 8 instead of 4 dice, seeing as she's using quick hit. Dice read: Hit, 7, no crit, Hit, 6, no crit.))

Vesper moved her palms against each side of the blade, preventing any fatal damage against her internal organs. In the movement she took a quick step backwards, the blade leaving her breast, now blood flowing over her vest, and raised her left hand as she unsheathed her rapier with her right. She quickly moved in a counterattack, aiming her swipe at her upper chest, neck region.
HP: 68/MP: 24/Defense: 2

Very good panth... glad everyone is catching on pretty easily. ^^
The game will naturally have to get a bit more complicated as we go on or it will just get boring, but we'll see. Things have to progress slow and naturally. =)

Nimue stumbled back, hand on her neck, her eyes wide with shock. She suddenly realized how inadequate she was, and she looked upon her opponent with new eyes, realizing her destruction was imminent.
Rebelling against her newly discovered fate, the doomed warrior plunged her sword down into the foot. Her eyes however remained upon her foe, looking up through her hair into Vesper's eyes.
