Gaia Name: It's rather prominent. But I can tell you the story behind the character! blaugh He is an Irish pirate whom I strongly relate to/with. He's bi-sexual, so he can never decide whom he should pine over, I suppose. biggrin He is also musical, artistic, and all around me in a boys body. With time traveling powers. Well, not really. He's my universal character. Used repeatedly through many of my stories that never get written down, and always having the same basic traits, but different interests. And he's also a bit of an idiot with emotional issues. sweatdrop

I'm 21, from OHIO - USA, and a female. My favorite genres are gay lit, fantasy, and modern fantasy, plus other things here and there. Aside from writing I doodle, and make AMVs, hang around on Gaia, onl the computer, and I like yaoi/yuri/and het sometimes. razz

I also love Fanfiction -- Wicked is such an awesome book heart ! And...I dislike FF.Net because it took away the fact that writing fanfiction is a legitimate form of writing.

And....to say something else, my favorite authors are to date: Jim Grimsley, Gregory McGuire, TS Eliot, Walt Whitman, Henry David Thoreau...but that's really it of the classical literature. Nella Larson's "Passing" was a great novel, too. And an easy read. :3 Interesting.

IMHO, Benjamin Franklin should have been forbidden from writing some of the things that he did. sad He's boring to read. And he thinks he's funny while he's not.

Erm...writer history. I've been a writer since 12/24/05 (last Christmas Eve, sillies) and by my anniversary (well, now, really) I will have written over 1000 pages. I've already completed a 163,000 word novel (it took the best of three months) which sucked. I sent it off to be published, but it never got there. So, here I am, writing the most amazing series the world has ever seen.

Hello, all! My name's Katie, and my friends generally call me Katie-Kat or Kitty. Yes, my username is my "title" IRL. I'm eighteen years old, but please don't let that fool you into thinking I'm an adult. I'm actually quite the immature little brat.

I live in Bellevue, Nebraska, which is in the Midwest, for those unfamiliar with US geography. I'm currently working as a CSR at Pizza Hut while I prepare to leave for Wayne State College in the fall. My major? I'm undecided; I'll probably major in education, but law and politics are looking more and more promising.

I love writing, and have been doing so since I could hold a pen, almost. ^^ My main genre is fantasy, and I love my characters. Much of what I write tends to be (unfortunately) short stories about individual characters. I've attempted breaking into a larger story, but my worldbuilding skills bite, which is difficult to get around.

A little about me: This is like.. the second time I've been invited here. xD Well, I sit on my a** a lot of the time, but there will be random weekends where I don't get home for two days. A lot of people mistake me for 16, 17, 18 years old. >D Mixed with a bit of going to shows to driving around at 4 in the morning, my weekends vary from game filled, to bored, to really loud. I'm also interested in urban style, as in dancing, and clothing, even though I dress differently.
