I know this advise may not be the most 'rolemodel-ish' think to give you but. I got mine at 17 on my inner wrist area without telling my parents. Sure, when they saw it they went nuts but now they're used to is and just don't mind as long as im not doing drugs or participationg in gang activities. rofl
