Angel. He is such a sweetie. Spike has too much fun being a vamp. He'd miss it way too much.

Personally, and even though Angel is one of my favorites, I think Spike should be the "real boy". Here are my reasons:
1. Angel didn't start being good until he got his soul. 2. Spike cared, even loved, people when he didn't have a soul. 3. Spike stuck by the people he cared about when Buffy died because he made a promise to her. Not many vampires without a soul keep promises to a dead girl. 4. Spike showed that he had more character then Angel...Angel was just "Brood Boy".
Now to sum all this jumble up. Spike, while without his soul, showed more promise then some humans. He stood by the humans he loved even when most say vampires without souls can't do that. With his soul he went crazy but still sacraficed himself for the ones he cared about. In Angel Season 5 he stood by Angel, even though he hated him, to defeat Wolfram and Hart. He had no need to do this, but he did anyway. And did anyone see the love he had for Fred and Dawn?
Personally I think Spike deserves to be human. Even as a vampire he was more human then some of us around here. Why not finish the job?

I think Angel. My reason:
1. Angel was Buffy's first love and will always be in her heart. 2. Angel had a miserable human life. 3. If he was to become human, you could surely know that he would go back to Buffy and that he wouldn't take his life for granted.

If I were just going to pick the one who deserved it, it'd be Spike, but being human wouldn't make him happy, and it certainly wouldn't make Buffy love him, so I think he's better off as is. Angel is such a sap, he'd really appreciate being mortal and able to grow old with her... Even though he'd worry every moment about not being able to help her.

Emily anne actually no one.... it never gets ther.. the season finishes before being able to happend.. Well, actually they do fight over the cup of whatever in the episode Destiny. But it was really only Mountain Dew. xp But I guess yea...the season finishes without anything happening. Which is good, because I like them both as vamps. heart

no one should get it. vampires are who they really are and them both being good WHILE they were vampires is the great part about watching the shows.
if its a question of who DESERVES to be real then it shud probly be spike for the reason that he was good and helped out the scoobies even w.o a soul and he went out and got the soul on hsi own free will. angel would nvr have been good if the gypsy hadnt cursed him. they both loved the life of vampires and being evil but spike made the choice to be good.

re Spike the Good Vampire:
Spike was only 'good' without a soul because that's what it took to get into Buffy's pants heart. Yes, maybe he could love, but love? Does not equal goodness. Just look at Elisabeth's hearthrob. (I can't remember his name, so I'm going for a pun.)
Spike was an evil b*****d. Not to say I don't like him, because I do, but he wouldn't have thought twice about murdering anyone who looked like a good snack because that's what he did. Yeah, sure, he cared for Buffy and Dawn, but anyone else? Happy meal on legs. That didn't change until he got his soul--for Buffy. She was always the reason, not out of the evilness of his heart. Without that chip? Eventually, he would have killed again. Maybe not the Scoobies (well, maybe Xander wink ) but an innocent person.
That said, I don't think Spike really gave a damn about being human anyway, and by the end, neither did Angel. Neither of them deserved it more than the other, in my opinion--both saved the world, both had times of selflessness, and both had horrid pasts.
Just my two cents that ended u pturning into a dollar, because I'm long-winded verbose.

Okay, all in all, deserves it more. Even if it was for buffy, Spike did change while being an 'evil' vampire. Not to mention, most of what he did that was evil was for DRUSILLA. All through out Spike's life, he did EVERYTHING for love. I just think that is sweet, and deserving. HOWEVER. SPike wouldnt WANT it. He now enjoys fighting the good fight, and probably would hate being human. The only reason he would want to be human, would be for BUFFY. Yet, I think that would never happen and just depress him.
So saying, Angel should have it, though doesn't deserve it. When angel first got his soul, he was still evil. Or semi so. He commited foul acts to please Darla, so she would accept him back into the Vampire fold. He never wanted his soul, he LIKED being evil. Not to mention, it tool whistler to get Angel to help. Hell, If whistler hadnt done that, Angel would probably still be drinking rats blood in NY. However, after Buffy, he changed that. And now he WANTS to be human, as a dismal one that he is. So, since he wants it, Buffy loves him ( I think its the common sulky deppresion), and Spike would just be sad, Angel should have it.

I believe Spike deserves to be a real boy. He was sweet and had a soul before he was sired by Dru and Angel was a human with no soul, he was a evil thing. I just see that Spike should be human.

Spike was only a decent being before his soul because he had to be. Buffy would've dusted him if she didn't see him as useful. Spike is evil, but he's not stupid. If Angelus had been chipped instead of ensouled, I bet he would've done the same thing. Angel has been working to get humanity back. It's the whole point of his 'helping the hopeless' line. Redemption.
I don't think Spike deserves a damn thing. He's quite arrogant and boasts that 'he saved the world' and all, calling himself an champion for that reason only. I don't remember the PtB sending visions to earth for SPIKE. Spike's not a champion, but Angel is. Angel never asked for his soul, but now he's making the most of it. He's saved so many people and never expected anything in return. I doubt that Angel thinks he will ever become human again. Spike thinks that it's already his.

I just see that Spike should be human. Evil? Isn't that a bit harsh? I mean, Liam wasn't exactly the best example of humanity ever, but carousing =/= evil.

Personally, I think Spike deserved it more. For one thing, Spike was never as evil as Angelus (he never wanted to destroy the world) and secondly, he wanted a soul and was willing to fight for it. However, in the last episode, I believe Angel finally gained the greater worth when he signed it away. He sacrificed everything he had been fighting and hoping for throughout the series in his attempt to destroy the Black Thorn. I think this last action may have been his greatest of all.
