Kana's eyes widened as more tears fell.
"I...I love..."she started to say and closed her eyes,the cacoon weaking its hold on her. The vines started to grow with herbs-to stop bleading,to stop pain, to heal.

Kana opened her eyes, exhausted. Using so much of her powers two days straight,making it so she was too tired to move. "Dmetri...I...love.."she started but passed out,but not before she took his other hand in her own. And thats when the paramedics started surrounding them.

'a beginer class user,using that much in a single day? we have to get her out of here quickly.She is in terrable danger' said one docter, as they loaded her up on a streacher,going to take her back to the hospital.

The doctor looked over at Dmetri and grimiced. "She is stabilized, but I am worried"he said,looking over at the curten covered room. "not only did she enhale a lot of pollen which might hurt the lungs,but she used so much of her power with reckless abandon." he put his hand under his chin and scratched himself. "It was like she wanted to die the way she used it..."he said and shook his head.
"I believe you should stay with her for a little while. She is sleeping right now,due to the drugs,but I know its always nice to wake up with someone you know waiting for you"

She listened to Deckland's story with a degree of compassion and empathy. She knew what it was like to lose family, so she could understand a little of what he went through, even though they were very different. Listening quietly to his story made her headache ease a little, and she felt less like bashing her head against a wall until she fell unconscious. He had obviously been through quite a lot in his life, however long or short it had been. It made her sad that so many people at this place seemed to have had horrible pasts, it was disturbing to her that the world had so much evil in it. She used to berate herself for never having the courage to venture out of her forest, but now that she'd seen what others had gone through in the world that she ignored, she was almost happy that she hadn't. When they were back together with the others, it was a little less uncomfortable because the others weren't as shy as either of them, and she was quite glad for that. Sophia went around the circle introducing everyone, and she was relieved, that meant no more asking or being asked for names.

When Sophia announced that they should have buddies, Rae's first reaction was happiness. She was a little timid with the whole group together, and she had trouble speaking to all of them at once, but if she was paired with one other person, it might be a lot easier to speak and listen, and it'd probably be a lot more comfortable. But her hopes fell when Sophia suggested she pair with Deckland. Nothing against Deckland, she wouldn't mind being paired with him, really. It would be fine, okay, and she could certainly get along. But if she was honest, she had to admit to herself that she wanted to be paired with Anton. She had so many questions for him stored up, and just the fact that they were similar made her feel closer to him, in a way. As of yet, he was the only person who had made her feel happy. That in itself was a feat for someone she'd just met, but for someone who looked as frightening as he did at first, it was nothing short of a miracle. She inched closer to him. "Actually... I kind of, well, I would prefer to be paired with Anton... If that's okay with him, and Clover, and Deckland. I'm sorry, I don't want to upset any of you. If you want to keep things the way they are that's fine, I um... It's just... Something." She blushed, not sure what she was trying to say and feeling more embarrassed by the second. The group had started moving towards another building, and she hurried to keep up, and still be within the proper distance to be heard without having to raise her voice.

Coming out and saying 'I like him better right now because he's just like me and that makes me feel more comfortable than someone who has wings that I would kill for' would probably not be very good for her friend-making progress, and she wasn't sure if Anton even wanted to be paired with her. "It's okay if you don't want to change it. I can understand that, and I don't mind being paired with Deckland at all, really." She frowned. She was just bumbling it all up. Now it sounded like she didn't like Deckland, and she was trying to convince them that she did. But that wasn't it, she just... Didn't know how to say it so they could understand. She turned even redder and just looked at the sign that said 'Library' like it was the most interesting thing she'd ever seen.

When Sophia had taken control and started pairing people up and such, Clover had simply shrugged. She'd never been much for organization. Her study back home had always been a mess. Chaos with papers spread everywhere and the occasional wild animal nesting under her bed. She never understood how they got there, or why they liked her better than her parents.

At Rae's timid but obviously heartfelt request, Clover could do nothing but smile. Without further ado, she took Anton's hand and led him over to Rae, making certain to flash him a playful smile so that he knew she wasn't trying to do anything different. "No problems." Then Clover turned to Deckland, giving him an excited mock salute. She felt that strange bubblyness wearing off around Deckland, and sighed softly. Then again, the man was so strange that she didn't immediately know what to make of him.
