If it had been anyone else, they probably would have smiled but Tariel only nodded. "Hello Jakt. And your distraction is fine. That was an unsually occurance..." If only for the fact that the human appartently turned into a wolf... She was staring off into space for a moment, contmeplating her thoughts on wolves... maybe it was just her wild imagination... But they had seemed so real. Her head snapped up when he spoke again. "Oh... My mom and my brother dragged me here as always..."

The train was already there! He could hear it~ Uzoma's eyes lit up cheerfully, and, in spite of his tiredness, he broke into a run. "Don't leave before I get there," he panted as he headed through the last few streets to the station.
The tinkerer was reasonably athletic, but he had already come quite a long distance to see the train at the station. So fortunately, he was not going at his top speed when he skidded around the corner into an alleyway to take a shortcut, and nearly trampled right over the girl who sat crouched against the wall.
"Waaah!" Uzoma yelped in surprise as he tried to stop before running the girl over, arms windmilling in the air. Both ended up being in vain, though, as he tripped over himself and fell towards the girl.

Engulfed in thoughts and slight despair Nina was doing a very foolish thing; becoming unaware of what took place around her. So focused was she that she did not hear the human foot-steps, which were terribly loud for a wolf, mind you. Only when he let out a cry did she come to her senses. Her head snapped up, eyes flashing over to the boy. Her mind registered that he was to fall on her and her muscles reacted with unreal speed, pushes her up and making her try and dash out of the way. Despite such great reflexes, she was unable to get out of the way in time. The boy landed on her as she had tried to get up, forcing her to her belly with a grunt escaping her lips. Surprisingly, her illusion held the entire time.

In the brief moment before they both hit the ground, Uzoma made an effort not to land on the girl too hard. Things happened too fast for him to take notice of her unusually quick reflexes, though. With a muffled "oof!", Uzoma fell on top of her, wincing as he managed to scrape his elbows even through the coat.
The tinkerer lied still for a moment, then abruptly remembered that there was someone else there, too. Ignoring his smarting knees and elbows, he got up off of the girl as quickly as if she'd burned him. "S-sorry, m-m-miss," he stammered. "Y-you okay?"

An ache spread through her body as she was pressed to the ground by the force of someone falling upon her. However, despite this once the weight was removed she took in a silent, but deep breath and moved to her feet. It was a sleak, smooth movement, especially surprising for someone who had just been landed on. Her action had made her face away from her offender. Shifting her gaze first, she turned her head to look at him from under black and gold locks, her orbs narrowed in a cold anger that seemed to pulse through her body. She said nothing in response to his question, simply glaring.

A lone figure stumbled a bit out of the train, surrounded by the odd passenger or person toting cargo. He seemed to be pretty out of it, blinking hazy eyes at the world before stifling a large yawn behind a hand. So this was the dome he'd heard about, a headquarters, a safehaven, a home.
Raking a tanned hand through unruly looking toffee locks, the young man shoved his remaining hand into a pocket on his baggy cargos and swiveled his head a bit, beginning to walk in the direction of the most buildings.
That's what most of the humans saw, anyway.
Rio had long since gotten used to hiding himself in human guise, though he wasn't really much better than the next wolf. The adolescent grinned a bit at a particular scent.
The young wolf had been walking in disquise for ten minutes already, seeing a lot of different people here and there, some wolves, some humans, and most just going about normal life, probably not making note of the new faces. If the train came through semi-regularly, bringing in new faces and taking away old, then Rio's arrival sure wasn't anything special.
Ducking into an alley to lean on the wall and watch the going-ons of the place he was going to reside in (he hoped, and supposed).
The train had been loaded with rations, and he could easily detect the direction most of them were going.
~Man, I hope I'll manage to fit in here.~
