*sighs* that's ok, you shouldn't let other good books go to read Phantom, though that, in my opinion, is the best book ever! mrgreen

No in my opinion, the Harry potter seris is the best ever but Phantom of the opera comes in at a close second. it was one vote off. When i read it i'll give you a deffinite answer.

Then I re-read it...a lot... and read PHANTOM over the summer and I have my own copy of Gaston Leroux and Kay's books.

victoriancountes JollyHoliday I've read it, and be warned, the ending is different than in the musical and movie. The Phantom actually does have a name. surprised well of course the phantom has a name! the movie, and musical just don't say it alot. the name is Eric. It's ERIK!!! ERIK WITH A K!!! NONE OF THIS "ERIC" BUSINESS!!! IT'S ERIK WITH A FREEKING K!!!

I finally finished it, and once I started reading it took me only a day for the most part to read it. The book is very good, but VERY different from the movie, it shocked me how much was really left out in the movie. But still the book is good, and poor Erik!!!
