I'm an agnostic atheist. Don't mind my input, do you? (I don't know why I ask that question. I always post anyway.)
Do I feel accepted- Yeah, by the people who I'd want to be accepted by. Actually, as long as no one's forcing their bible down my throat, I feel plenty accepted. But that's just me. There are some people I wouldn't even want to be accepted by, anyway.
Do I encounter intolerance- Golly gee, naw, neeeeevvvveeeerr. Intolerance is part of life. If someone wants to go "OMG you're atheist/Wiccan/whatever the hell?! I hate you! I have to go tell all my friends to hate you too!", fine. They are small, insignificant specks in your life. Now, intolerance from the law (i.e., being forced to pray at school), I've never encountered that. Yay for me.

Lozt_1 Do you feel accepted for who u are? Why should I need acceptance from anyone other then myself? Conformity is not why I exsist. It is better to care little to nothing of what others think. Step on those in the way and help those willing to help themselves. What do u do when u encounter intollerance? I push forward as only the truth hurts and if people feel they can belittle me with wasted comments and empty threats so be it. I will not hesitate knocking them out or countering they ignorance with facts. Knowledge is power and power is wasted on idiots so don't waste your breathe break a face instead. I am Leo a man who gave up on careing a long time ago. We are not pawns in some empty dieties courtyard. We are all highly intelligent beings when who take time to learn and study what is to be known can move what needs when it needs done. Exsist to believe in oneself and kick the oppressive to the curb be the box not live in or out of it... Just my 3 pence. As much as i agree with all of that, it sounds like u have some social issues. ^_^ remember this is a future psychologist ur talking to. lol, in the world of the idiots, u must deal with idiots. but if ur smart, all the idiots will work for u! hahaha If at first you dont succeed, distroy all the evidence that you tried!

Sweetypop You've read Scott Cunningham's Wicca for the Solitary Practicioner, haven't you? I have a Mirror Book myslef, and I believe it can be considered seperate from a BOS. When it comes to intolerance. . . My stepmom is all against Wicca, any kind of occult, actually, but my dad is somewhat open minded. Though he still expects me to be Christian and seems to think this is just a phase. Well, this phase is two months and a week a way from being a year old. The kids at my school don't even know what Wicca is. I don't just say this without evidence, as Scott Cuningham's book was once lying on my desk (covered by something else, of course) and the girl next to me tried to grab at it. Now it's like a great mystery to all the blonde girls (I know that's kind of stereotypical, but all the girls in that group are blonde). Which is a pretty good thing, since I live in the Bible Belt. I dont really consider it to be an occult....because its not basicly brainwashing....unless ur looking at the wrong side. but yes, the world is filled with ignorant idiots. dont feel bad bout it! and one of my best friends who loves magick as much as i do is a blonde...then again...shes also a smart blonde

Now i know the law is intollerant...but u know what? ur imput really isnt belonging here if u dont really know. and yes being forced to pray sucks. And i never did say that people were forcing bibles down eachothers throats. xp ewww...tastes like book....hahaha!!! xd

I studied a lot of psychology. Have practiced it to an extent until I realized some people need a shoulder to cry on to survive and that is by far pretty pathetic. It is better to live the life you love and love the life you live then to b***h about where you exsist IMHO. I do have social issues but I hate people period so I know where they stem from. Thanks for the observation though and good luck with your chosen path...

Heh. Yea on that note...my boyfriend has a lot of social issues too. and u know what? he thinks everyone hates him and in turn he hates most people. Its not good or healthy for u! ::is being a conserned fellow being:: Its probably really hard to deal with normal people, but once u learn how they think, u can basicly feel better about urself because those who are more free hearted are more likely to be higher in emotional intelligence and regular intelligence. (or so has been my experience)

(or so has been my experience) Very true that is. I am open to others opinions and can communicate well with others. Any given situation can be taken way out of context or balanced to an acceptable point by anyone in the room. It is whether you choose to maintain the levels of balance and contentment that apply to the hostility that can be there. There are always times to hold ones own opinions to themseves and always pick your moments wisely. Emotional strengths are sometimes weakness a cold heart is both a weakness first and strength later... Lost my thought sorry...

I don't hide the fact that im pagan (i havent felt comfortable calling myself wiccan yet because i dont feel...like i've learned enough). i mean, i dont go out screaming it to everyone, but if someone asks, i'll tell them. Because not many people know of my religion, i've come across more intolerance towards my ideals. Like in english last year, we were constantly going over the "controversial" issues in the world. For just about every single one of them, i was the most outspoken person in the room, practicaly always against what other students were saying. Most of which, fyi, were christian, and used that in they're arguments, like how homosexuality is against god and such. I was constantly forced to remind them that not everyone in the country is christian, so our politics should never be based on christian beliefs. So while in that class i didnt straight out say i was pagan, it was sortof obvious that i wasn't christian. but i felt more....intolerance because of what i thought than what i was. im not sure if that made any sense ^^' but i tried to explain, lol

Sweetypop About your reply to Sybex: What don't youwant to hear? You don't want her input if she doesn't know what? Precisely what I was thinking when I read it. neutral
PrincessSophia; I did put "I don't know why I ask if I post anyway.", but that was a joke. A two-sentence joke. Also, I never said anyone was shoving their Bible down my throat... I said as long as no one did that to me, I was fine. smile
