Bramd Wayfare Yeah, I hear that WoW is way too easy for a player like myself. I'm in a rather mid-to-high-end raiding guild on EQ, and there've been times where I have been quite the devout little player. The reason why I chose Guild Wars over World of Warcraft as my new MMO of choice is that I much prefer games with a challenge. GW has the potential to pose quite a challenge to me, as it gets heavily into PvP if you chose to go down that path. I myself am planning on participating on that when I finally leave EverCrack. WoW was really bad for PVP originally but then the honor system came out and now its all about the ganking.

Don't play MMORPGS anymore cause I hate paying for them...Guild wars looks interesting...

Spiral Gleam eve is worth the cash IMO. its fun. its no Ragnarok but hey, what is? Ragnarok? Man......... You gotta be on crack! It's fun, but I would'nt trade COH for that, no way!

Just because people can have fun with the game without spending 2304982 hours on it doesn't mean it's bad. Unlike EQ, it allows people to enjoy themselves and feel like they've accomplished something in it while still having a social life.

EQ wasn't even Ever Quest it was more like Ever Kill. Rats that is. I don't feel like I'm just wasting time and going in circles. There are actual quests to do. Rawr. That being said, I have a Level 6(for the moment, about to change. Not having internet at my Mom's sucks) Undead Rouge.

I dont mind spending hours and hours on a character. I dont mind quests that take a decade to complete. I really dont mind ambling about in the same zone day after day after day. I prefer games that require time, a challenge and serious thought; games that push me to my limits of skill. I can say this without any problem whatsoever.
What I cannot abide by are dipshit coders and designers who ******** BROKE the goddamn game. The class I play, Magician, is one of the most (if not the most) broke classes in the entire game. The Magician class has been turned from a viable source of damage-dealing goodness (about 3.5 years ago) to a goddamn Wal-Mart in a robe. Many mages b***h about being vending machines. "Deposit your 'hard-earned' platinum here to recieve your summoned garbage here." What a farce.
I've been playing RPGs now for about 15 years now, and I can say without any hesitation that 3 drunken, s**t-throwing monkeys could have designed and coded a better game.
Though this is not to say that I'm a fan of the 'ease' one progresses in WoW. I want to work for my progression, and be rewarded accordingly.
