This is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies. Don't get me wrong it's nice to have romance as the whole plot of a movie, but I liked not seeing it for once. I adore Morph's little "spider psycho" imitation. How can you not love that?

Having crushes on animated characters is a common occurance with me. xd I guess this is why none of my relationships work out. My standards are too high. *lol*

Same here with the standards too high.

There was a little romance int the movie, but it's refreshing that it wasn't Jim with some chick that the fangirls (and some boys *ahem*) would end up hating with a passion. 3nodding

Yep that's what I'm saying. The little budding romance is cute on the side, but I'm relieved that it's on the side. The last thing we need in a movie is for the guy to turn all lovey-dovey at the sight of a pretty girl! blaugh Don't we have enough of those already? *lol*

The CG backgrounds and camera work were great. I love the sky boarding scene in the beginning. It's an enjoyable adaptation of the book.

Treasure Planet was the only recent non-Pixar Disney movie that I have enjoyed since Mulan came out.

I really can't decide. It was a really good movie, but I remember Titan A.E. coming out right about then and I liked it more sad None the less Good Movie! I like Jim or Morph.

This is only my favorite movie ever! *laughs* I mean how could you not love it? The animation is awsome, the story is awsome, and the charactors are awsome! *falls in a heap of awsomeness*

One of the best things about this movie is that you grow to love the main charactor. I've noticed in alot of movies recently that the main charactors arent really lovable anymore and I always end up liking side charactors better.

Thank you you've given me a new goal! (playing I'm Still Here on the guitar!)

I think I might have actually liked the story even better if Disney had done a more traditional rendition of treasure island. Like, you know, in the 18th century or whatever.

But it's so, so cool the way they blended both settings! I mean, they could have just put everyone in spaceships with rayguns and silver suits. But they created a world that was so original and awesome!

I deffinitly agree with Talamai. The way they made it the future and yet the past... and Docter dilber! Doctor dilder would have been so diffrent if they had stuck to the 18th century and I like him as a hybrid dog... thing... *laughs* oh I have no idea what I'm talking about... sweatdrop

Ain't Jim a cutie? 4laugh The one I scene I really liked was when they had just set sail and the space..whales..thingies (I forgot what they were called!) were, i guess "swimming" along side the ship. That scene just gave me goosebumbs. The song done by the google dolls was just awesome I think. And who could ever forget Morph's imataion of Scroop? that was hilarious. blaugh

Yep, that was really creative! The settings were really pretty; I especially like the one where Silver and Jim were in the longboat and following that meteor thing...or whatever it was..Anyways, they were "sailing" through the really shimmery tail. XD

Yeah, usually with Disney, the main character has this big romance. I don't think I would've complained if Jim had a little thing for [insert nonexistent character] (heehee because I LOOOVE romances...unless they're cheesy o_O), but just as long as it wasn't a huge subplot of the story. But still, this way, we get to know Jim better, so yes, it was refreshing not to have a romance.

Thinking about Jim having a love interest is weirding me out...Probably cuz it seems so outta place since well, there WAS no romance. Okay, I'll shut up about this topic now..

Anyways... Jim's so cute! Hahah I had to get that out. XD

[edit]
Thinking about it a little more...considering the storyline and Jim's character, and the father/son relationship he has with Silver, I really can't imagine there being a romantic subplot (besides with Doppler and Amelia). Yes, I'm babbling on about this...XD Soo..Thank gosh there wasn't any love interest for Jim! I really can't think where she'd be placed in the plot anyhow...

Okay, NOW I'll shut up..XD
