The scorpion hissed angerly, swinging it's tail and knocking Aria's foot, before swinging it again, again aiming for her legs.

Just as Aria kicks, the scoprion lunges, tip of it's tail catching the skin just about Aria's leg as the lungs takes it out of the way of Aria's boot.

Aria pulls her foot back, and ponders, then attempts another stomp. She ached but she needed to defeat this beast.

The scorpion took the moment to skitter away from Aria, in case she tried to take another swing at it, hissing angerly, as if saying it still didn't give up.

A litte ways up the path there's a broken trap that had already been set off; a broken tile's pieces jaggedly spike upward, and to the left a skeleton pinned to the wall by a old, rusty spear. It looks like it could be of use, if only for a little while.
The grass scorpion watched her, hissing and waving his tail angerly, apparently still up for a fight.

Aria flies to the spear, and grabs it, then turns, and lands, moving towards the grass scorpion. She STABS at it, trying to skewer the little so and so.

The scorpion screeched as the spear moved past the tail, stabbing the scorpion in the back. It writhed, flinging it's tail around as it attempted to get free of the spear head.
Finally wiggling free it skittered back, hissing, now enraged.

Aria snarls, in a pleased way, then makes a slashing motion with the head of the spear, trying to slice it open, her eyes cold.

The scorpion moved to block the slash, but it moved to slow. It fliched as the spear head bit into it's body, twitching as if staggered and topple over death.
Though if Aria looked in the scorpion's nest she would see why the scorpion had been fighting so viciously. There was something glittering, nestled in a small space within the moss.

Aria pauses to drink one of the healing potions she had packed ((-preowned, listed in items shoppe-)) and then, as she is healed, she goes and looks inside the nest, curiously.
