"I am Ravji, just a boy, and a servant to the dance."

Respectful, but unintimidated, the four-armed boy bowed low, flourishing before straightening, to cast the large spirit a thoughtful look.... What was this? A puzzle for him to solve? Or rather a riddle?

...With potent, flowery words speak I,
Of something common, vulgar, dry;
I weave webs of pedantic prose,
In effort to befuddle those....

Verbosity for something simple... In fact, that was what most of this was, the clues lay in the first four lines, and last two...

...Practical I may not be,
But life, it seems, is full of me...

No... How simple. But then again. That's what they were supposed to be. Chuckling, Ravji held out all four of his palms up in a shrugging motion, and tilted his head, speaking somewhat questioningly.

"Why... It is simply a riddle? That which you speak, and that which I answer!"

Why was he unafraid? As Domine has stated, he had asked for help. Apparently it had arrived. Hopefully, Flerida wouldn't shy away from the spirit. Rune? He had no worried about the boy. While awaiting the spirit's response, Ravji's silver eyes lifted to the mountain behind them. It was rather large, and the closest one for miles.

The huge beast bows his head with a lolling smile. "Life is, indeed, the ultimate riddle to so many. Do you know the answer to that one, dancer?"

The wolf gazes around at the party and says, "Very well. I will leave you with this:

"I am a tale in childrens' minds.
I keep their secrets and share them inside.
I blur their thoughts into fantasies kept
Like a canvas of art or a submarine depth.
Though an illusion, it occurs every night;
I give them a fantasy, I give them a fright.
Nor good or bad, but always night'
It's interesting to tell.
What am I?"

With that, he turns slowly away and, chuckling, trots between the gnarled trees and out of sight beyond a clump of low, scroungy trees. A last glimpse of fleeting black up the hill beyond and he is gone for good.

Rune stood transfixed by the goings on, eyes wide as he watches Ravji discourse with the massive beast as though it were nothing much at all. Just like in stories, where the hero fearlessly faces down really scary stuff....
What an incredible wolf... He'd never thought about it before but you could really tell the difference between a wolf and a dog. There would be no putting a collar on the huge black thing that had drifted silently away from them as though they'd dr....
He tilted his head slightly, loling it lazily to one side in a gesture sort of like a facinated seal, that sort of curious semi boneless grace. That riddle was bugging him. Normaly he sort of let them slide, because he didn't think he was very good at that sort of thing and they didn't seem worth the time, but it seemed so...tip of the tounge.
"Hey....Hey Ravji." He noted, reaching over to poke the other boy in the arm reapeatedly as he straightened his head again. "Hey I think I know the answer!" He sounded absoloutely dumbfounded at this particular revelation.
He Knew the answer to a riddle? WOW! If he was actually right this was going to be SO COOL! then maybe he'd be nearly as smart about these things as Rav....er...maybe not. BUT SO COOL! "I bet you thought of it first. But I think I know! Will you tell me if I'm right? Huh? Will you? Will that help? Because she sounded really upset when she screamed and I know you said we can't just run around which is really kind of too bad but if it would help that would be great and I think it's a Dream."
He barely paused for breath in this amazing testiment to the run on sentense...which also seemed to be testimant to the capacity of his alternate form to hold it's own breath...blinking a few times before looking anxiously between the two. If he was right he wanted to know right-that-second They were busy heroing here!

Kinnara ears flickered as he had been traveling for a while. When he traveled he mainly was lost. Not to any suprise. He had heard that most of the other Fable had gone on some quest to his knowleged. His ears then flatten down on his head and he had a sour look on his face. "I bet Aurora went with out me too," he said to himself in a low voice. Kinnara then paused for a moment and looked down at his feet. His orange cat ears slowly came up. He could hear voices, though his hearing was a bit stronger then most humans. He looked up and about. Kinnara then followed the voices to find out who was speaking. He could hear it but it was like a low mumbling to him. Kinnara started to run as his heart began to beat in his chest. He thought to himself It has to be the others. Though he truely had no idea where he was or where they were. He then stopped, which he should haven done for he trip over his shoes and fell on his face. Kinnara covered his nose and looked up. He found them. The others. The four arm boy, which he didn't catch his name and the others.

Ravji just stared at his friend for a long time, possibly one of the only people who could decipher and understand his run-on sentences when Rune was this excited and looked thoughtful, going through the lines of the riddle before grinning, and squeezing the boy's shoulder.

"That's RIGHT, Rune! The answer IS a Dream! How clever of you!"

He didn't get to puzzle at the choice of riddle much longer, before a cat-eared boy he'd never seen before stumbled into their midst.

"Why, hello."

Bending, he held out one hand of many, to help him up.

"Who are you?"

There was no way for Kinnara to know what they were doing out here, but one more mind was never an unwelcome addition to their party.

Kinnara took one of Ravji hand and lifted himself up. He then looked at the four arm boy with curiousty. His tail swavyed side to side. Kinnara then got up on his feet. Kinnara notice he had gotten a little dirt on his front of his clothes and procided to brush it off with his hands.
"There that is better."

"Thank you for helping me up," he said in a polite manner not wanting them to think he was a spy or something.

"My name?" Kinnara started,"Oh it's Kinnara." He gave a somewhat friendly smile. Kinnara slowed down the motion of his tail.

His ears then shifted a bit as he tried to figure out what was going on. It seemed there were only a few of them here. Most he didn't know. Kinnara thought in his head, I should get out more often.

Flerida listened and Flerida thought. Yet, before her mind could even fathom the riddles, Ravji and Rune had already answered them. She didn't mind, really, in fact she was quite relieved that she was with someone who could actually be of help.

And that was when a feline-boy emerged. The avian's first instinct was to let out a small yelp, followed quickly by moving away. The feline-creatures her guardian had brought home were one thing, they were small, and were the size of ordinary house cats. She was bigger than them, and she got to know them as kittens.

Kinnara, for he had introduced himself as such, on the other hand was a complete stranger. And Flerida did not do well with strangers, especially one who was part feline.

"What was that about?" She asked softly, referring to the riddles more than to Kinnara.

Aekepi hadn't the foggiest notion of where he was going, or where he was. As usually happened with the 'yote boy, this caused quite a bit of... what could be called panic, to creep into his mind. He was good enough at ignoring it, but if he were lost and alone for too terribly long, something was going to snap. Luckily enough for him, he remembered that he'd seen someone over here a while ago, and he surmised that they must still be here. Not that he knew WHO had been over here. If it was Tasius, he was in for a bruising. But it would beat being lost, and alone. He sort of missed the others [but not, certainly, the dragon], and he wanted to know where they had gone. There had been letters recieved... ok - ONE letter recieved - from Kinnara stating a desire to set up a meetingplace, but Aeka had never gotten a chance to reply. He hoped, faintly, that he might meet the cat here, and reply in person.
He was not expecting to start to hear voices coming from up ahead of him, but knowing his luck, it was probably Tasius and someone else. He couldn't tell from here. Creeping closer, and pricking his ears high, using them to pick up as much as he could, he attempted to move forward, and find who was speaking. As he drew nearer, the voices grew more clear, and he was able to make out two that he knew. Ravji and Kinnara! There were others there, but he didn't know who they were. He wasn't, though, about to run into their midsts. Intead, he stalked to a place where he could watch, and peeked into where he heard the sounds of conversation. Kinnara, Ravji, Flerida, Rune. No Medeine... That was odd.
He made himself known as he stepped out into the open, and waited to be noticed. He recognized that some of the others were in thought. Even being himself - and insanely curious - he would wait to be told. Being poilte may have been a drag at times, but it certainly helped relations with other people.

"I got it right?? Really?" Rune beamed, completely elated by his success to the point it seemed as though he might have forgotten the dark and threatening source of the riddle altogether. He whirled toward the cat boy and the other that had arrived, still beaming, since he has no answer for Fler's question.
"Hey did you hear that? I got the riddle right! How are you?" he demands, offering his hand to them both, wavering it between them as he tries to deside who to introduse himself too first. "I'm Rune! Nice to meet you! Ravji thinks I'm CLEVER" He boasted, reaching to put his free arm around Ravji and give him a vigorous one armed hug if the other boy didn't evade his embrace.
