My ultimate favorite pairing is:
*drums*
Temari x Shikamaru!!
-I actually thought about this for a long time and I just ended up with the result it works out. I actually think these through a lot so I don't pair people just like that(Ooh I sound like an elite pimp, dammit^^).
I've also getting warm to Naruto x Hinata, it would actually work.
I'm not so sure about any others(though it's fun to make up some weird pairings as a joke, such as The Third Hokage x Kisame or something^^), because I like to pair only my fav. characters, and behold, the result of those thoughts:
-Rock Lee. In the beginning I was all over with the GaaLee pairing but now.. nah.
-Kakashi. I think he's just... unpairable. Is that even a word?
-Shikamaru. Belongs to Temari
-Temari. Again with this...
-Gaara. Um, I haven't yet figured out this one either.
-Jiraiya. I, uh, yeah, dunno. Because he's just who he is (^^) I don't think he'll settle with any woman unless that lady is strong enough to kick his a** and drag him away from temptations. Tsunade, maybe...? Gotta think.
And that's that.

I'm pretty open to any pairing. There are a few things that I don't really like, such as Unchihacest, Hyuugacest, SasukexSaukra and pretty much anything involving Gai-sensei. Other then that I'm very openminded.

I know! People tend to not see how really awesome Gai is because he acts so silly all the time. Look at the way he fought during the Attack on Konoha during the Chuunin Exams, he was kicking some major a**.

HyuugaNeji-Leaf why somewhere in the couples theres a gay fan neji couple but anyway Shikamaru and temari So far, there aren't any couples that are definite. All the couples, be they gay or straight, are strictly fan based. There are some that are hinted at in the series, like Shikamaru and Temari, or Ino and Chouji, but nothing is set in stone unfortunately D:

My all time favorite is Gaara/Sakura but I actually like any hetero pairing with Sakura.
