Lady Adelaide noooo! remember the collar fix? its a sign, i tell you! what you think is sisterly love is actually katara feeling terrible that aang is so sad, and trying to cheer him up because she loves him.... yea i thought katara was acting like aangs wife on that episode... But it was soooo sad too! Kataang

Tch. We all know they're GOING to make it Kataang, but some us know they're more like siblings. I mean they don't even look good together..-__- I mean there's no spice! It's always the main character paired up with the main girl character, it's not fanfictiony for me. That's why I prefer TophXAang the most out of Toph, and Aang couples, even though I know it's never going to happen. Actually Toph and Aang look kinda cute together! (Toph has a crush on Sokka! *giggle*) whee

I think Toph does, in fact, have a crush on Sokka... I mean, it does seem kind of strange that she would want to give Sokka kiss on the cheek, even if he did save her, if she didn't like him.
But that's my opinion. lol
And the whole sisterly thing with the Aang and Katara thing-- I've always seen Katara as more of a mother/sister type of figure to Aang, at least through her own eyes. It's obvious that Aang has feelings for Katara.
And that's one reason why I don't like Kataang. It's just so obviously thrown at people that Aang likes Katara and it makes it lose it's appeal, to me. That's one part I liked about Sokka/Suki... you didn't know that she actually kind of liked him until the end of the episode... it isn't thrown at you. Granted, it did take a few episodes to show Aang's feelings were changing, but it was pretty early on that it did.
Although I know Zutara probably doesn't stand a chance, I still support it and enjoy the thought of the two together, it would go well with the whole yin and yang theme that Avatar has adapted so well.

Copied, pasted, and quoted from a previous post of mine regarding Toph and Sokka. Mage Negi Okay, here's my take on why I don't think Toph loves Sokka. Put yourself in Toph's position. You are on a small island and you only know what is happening while on that island. Meanwhile, outside the island, there is a giant serpent. You don't know where it is and you don't know what is happening. Unfortunately you have to leave because the serpent could hit you (like it almost did for Toph). Now you have to cross a fragile bridge of ice. Again, you don't know where the serpent is. Not only that but you don't know how far the other side of the bridge is. You're also walking over an ocean and you can't swim. Now you fall into the ocean after having the bridge shatter beneath you. One person (Sokka) calls out and says he will save her. As far as Toph knows, Sokka is the only one in the group who can save her as she doesn't know what Suki is capable of and Katara and Aang are busy. Suki saves Toph and Toph thanks "him" with a kiss on the cheek for saving her life. I see all of that as being one moment when we really see Toph being scared and fearful for her life. Now, if you were in that situation and were that scared and someone saves you, how do you think you would react to your rescuer? Would you say "Oh, well, thanks I guess." or "Oh thank you thank you __(name)__." As tough as Toph acts, I doubt she would brush off someone who rescues her. So basically, I see it as a "Thank you for saving me"-kiss, not a "I admit my affection to you"-kiss. If there is more evidence in the future that could show that Toph likes Sokka, then I'll admit there's a possibiliy. I apologize if I sound snippetty in this. It's nothing personal to anyone. As for Zutara, I see it as a relationship that's really nice to think about but is probably the longshot of the group. I totally agree that they look cute together and everything but I don't really see it happening in the end. I agree with Kouryuko about Kataang feeling kinda forced on us although I totally support it and think it will happen.

True, your comment about Toph is absolutely right, Mage Negi... but why did she say Suki could let her drown after she realized it wasn't Sokka? (or something around that line, my memory escapes me...)
Don't get me wrong, I don't support Toph and Sokka together at all, but I found the idea of Toph having a little crush on Sokka cute. If she really doesn't that's cool. heart lol heart

Lady Adelaide kataang!!!!!!! im not trying to be mean, but zuko and katara HATE EACH OTHER. i just cant imagine how they would hook up. plus, if katara did go to zuko, she would be betraying her tribe, her family, toph, and aang. It's called a love/hate relationship, baka, and if Zuko joined the Gaang it wouldn't be betrail.

I wanna see him with that gilr. heart Well, with him and Jin, I don't think it's true love or anything, they ARE teenagers, but it would be a good thing for Zuko, who has so little people who care about hi.
