/: Yet again, i'm at risk for sounding like an a**. Buut, certain bits and pieces of your comment irritated me.

As said in my earlier post, SatoxRisa is -fanon-. as is SatoxDaisuke, DarkxKrad, etc. In other words, it's as much a fantasy as any Bl/Yaoi pair.

Saying "don't make a straight character gay in your image" is really irritating to me. (Seeing as I have fanarts with s-ai/bl/yaoi content/implied bl/yaoi content. Not to mention the fiction!)

Point is....Hon, EVERY fandom will have some kind of (fan made, in most cases.) material that is of that nature. Saying "stick to straight fanart!" is rude to people who enjoy drawing/writing/whatever the characters in that way. A common arguement to this is...

"Well, the creators are offended by it!" To which my common reply is "How exactly would you know?" Honestly, from interviews and such i've read; most of the people that have their characters portrayn(sp? Dx) in that way are hardly offended. If anything, they seem to enjoy seeing different people's views/perceptions/etc. of their characters.

I think drinktilfall had too much to drink... sorry, bad joke.

I can see where both arguments are comming from. And they both have good points.

Drinktilfall is saying if you truley love a character, why comprimise who they are? If you're truley a fan why would you deviate the personality and dreams of a character? The creator of the story made it that way, isn't THAT what drew you in to the story and character to begin with?

And the other side of the argument is: It's a fantasy, the entire point is that it cant happen. Sure im playing with characters, but its just a little more fun for me to see an alternate story play out. And if it cant/wont happen no harm, no foul. Fantasy are ment to be just that, fun, new exciting, and odd why not?

Even if said creator despised yaoi/S-ai/Bl, people would draw/write their characters like that anyways. And why not?
Besides, Bunny-sensei had a nice bl/yaoi(memory fail?) Evangelion doujin. She just dislikes DOUJIN of her own chars. She obviously hasn't got a beef with the yaoi. (:

But, in all honesty...given ALL of your previous statements. When you say "I am not a hater", I see no real reason to believe that. None. Nada.

Oh lordy, 'beyond that point'? What is beyond the point? Fanart depicting intercourse between two male characters? Simple embracing? ...A kiss? You'd have to be more specific.
Honestly, saying "you shouldn't" (not can't, pardon me.) and "don't post it anywhere!" is just a personal opinion. If people want to post something--they will. And in most cases..they can!
But, really..I do keep most arts of that nature to myself, and people I know personally.(or people I talk to regularly that have no problem with that sort of thing.)

When did I say "THEY'RE GAY". (: I didn't.
I was mentioning that hey! There are some SatoxDai hints too. That doesn't mean I was saying "Oh yah, Sato loves that whiny redheaded dude". Just stating various possibilities, however far fetched. For christ's sake, it's an anime character.

No, atleast in most of the cases.

Since this is pretty much an arguement now..may as well say "you've only "lost" when you can't be assed into listening, or even bothering to remotely consider the other person's thoughts/words" I've read everything you typed, muffin. But your attitude sucks, and you don't seem to even WANT to listen to anything anyone may say that...my lord. Might disagree with YOUR views?

I never said "so and so" is gay. Honestly, yeah, 'Toshi will probably end up with Risa. But, he hasn't--yet. And there are plenty of hints towards Sat/Dai(as an example) that would make one think otherwise. Wrongly? Sure. But implications /are/ there for people that LIKE that sort of thing.

Disrespect, my eye! I don't think the few BL/yaoi doujin of Sugisaki's work would exist if she really felt that strongly against it. As I already said, don't like? Don't view! Don't read.

Atleast making some kind of effort to be polite in an explanation is a good thing! It'll incline me to go "hey! sure". (:

Maaa...I am, however, a bit riled up(various things, don't flatter yourself.) soo..I likely didn't make much sense. And I likely worded a few things poorly. I just intended to give a few possibilities/things to that effect; not create an arguement about a damn /anime/ character.
But, when you start saying "you shouldn't draw/write "x character" in a remotely gay way with "x character" because of MY personal opinion". Well..some people will get offended. And I suppose i'm one of them. >_>'
