"What a beautiful idea Zarina!" Twintuition, it's a beautiful thing... Zahara started unwrapping more of her beloved trinkets contemplating what to do with them. "Zarina, did you want the bedroom at the end of the hall upstairs facing east, or the one near the landing facing South? Because the sooner we choose rooms the sooner we can figure out how to decorate them, and then we won't have to agree on them." Zahara set down a miniature waving sapphire cat for Zarina to look at, each girl had been given one from their grandmother on their first birthday.

Zarina gazed at the small cat. "I'll take the southern one." she told her twin "More light in the afternoons." once again she was thinking of her art in her room selection. "Yes, south will do just fine...It's not like one is any bigger than the other." she complained a bit.

"No, the eastern facing one is just more removed and quite, which I think will be good for my singing, and besides both have adjoined bathrooms, we should be fine, I just wanted to give you your choice." Zahara unwrapped Zarina's identical opalescent cat and handed it to her. "Should we keep these beauties in our separate rooms or down stairs in the parlor? They do make a beautiful pair, but I know how much you love to have yours close to you." Zahara took a glance at her sister's artwork and smiled at how effortlessly she seemed to be able to make a masterpiece, but she knew better, she knew how hard Zarina worked to achieve balance and perfection, and she was quite accomplished.

Zarina studied the two felines side by side. "We should ceterpiece them in the china cabinet in the hall." she said. "After all we have the lockets and other items that can be closer to us."

"Hmmm I like that idea." Zahara left the room to go upstairs. "Zarina! I am going to see what kind of condition our rooms are in, maybe we can sleep in our own rooms tonight!" She called down. Walking carefully to ensure that the floor was sturdy, Zahara was pleasantly surprised to find that everything seemed sound and made of quality craftsmanship. As she wandered down the hall past the linen closet she smiled at the view of a bird nest out the window, it was good to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. She cautiously opened the door to her room, the paint was peeling off the walls but as far as she could tell that was the only thing in need of fixing. She walked to the window to breathe in the magical feeling that drew her to it.

"I wouldn't count on it Zahara" Zarina called after her twin. "We're still waiting on our beds and other items... For now all we have are the chairs and blankets in the living room." she reminded. "The rest of it is supposed to arrive tomorrow first thing."

"It was just wishful thinking. Are you ready to start dinner?" Zahara asked as she walked gracefully down the stairs. It was almost ritualistic how the twins did things like cook together, each one knowing exactly what to do without even speaking, never throwing off the other's routine. Zahara loved to laugh and talk as she made dinner, her sister always helped ease any worries she had on her mind.

Zarina jumped up from the chair. "Yes, I'm absolutely starved!" she said and moved towards the kitchen and the boxes of pots and pans. "Chicken or beef tonight?" she asked as she started pulling things out of boxes, and setting them on the stove.

"Chiken I think, I bought the ingredients for a zesty lemon pepper rub, and there are fresh carrots in the fridge. Hey! Maybe for desert we could go pick wild strawberries!" Zahara reached in the brown shopping bag that she had picked up that afternoon to get the lemons and fresh black pepper. She started singing as she zested the lemons.

"Sounds wonderful" Zarina said as she absently doodled a strawberry plant on a napkin. "I think there's angel food cake, and fresh whipped cream in the fridge as well."

Zahara walked to the kitchen to get the chicken out of the fridge, singing her song and getting carrots out for her sister to peel as soon as she was done working on her painting. "Are you almost done with your inspiration?"

Zarina started peeling the carrots her sister had placed in front of her. "I believe there's a strawberry patch right outside the back door, out towards the drive." she said thinking over the layouts she had seen while she had been out.

"I am not sure, but you are probably right sis. I have seen more of the inside of the house than the outside, but I do love the view from my window, there is a beautiful tree with a birds nest in it, maybe later you can help me figure out what kind of tree it is," Zahara commented as she started putting the spices for the chicken together in a large glass pan. She hated the feel of raw chicken, but oh how she loved the taste when it was all cooked.

Zarina washed her hands and put the chicken into the pan, turning it to cover it with the spices. "I'll see what it is later." she told her sister in reference to the tree, before washing her hands and returning to cutting the veggies.

Zahara smiled, appreciative of the help her sister gave her with the chicken. She handed Zarina the pot for the carrots already partially filled with cool water. "Thanks, it's so pretty I just can't think of what it would be. Hey I have an idea, tomorrow for breakfast we can take a picnic to the woods out back and examine things more, and maybe if I am lucky I can get a darker shade of pale to my skin." Zahara giggled, both she and her sister were very aware of her lack of tan.
