Comos was loving this more and more. He just knew there was a reason that something told him to come down from the mountain opposite of the way he had gone up. He never had felt so comfortable to just be himself and not worry about doing something that would be taken the wrong way.
"I am so glad that I met you, Jaime. I had almost forgotten what it was like to be carefree," he said in a joyous tone. "Everyone else would ignore me, and pretty much only want out of me what they wanted. I pratically had to walk on eggshells trying to please them all."
He looked into Jaime's eyes and just got swept away in them. When he realized he was still blushing he quickly drew his wings around to hide his face. He then suddenly threw his neck around hers and passionately nuzzled her.
Hearing something coming up from behind, he quickly leaped over her and stood guard, protectively scanning the area for potential danger. His ears stood up and he only relaxed when he saw that it was nothing more than a rabbit scampering and scrounging for food.

Jaime-Lynn laughs as she could see that Cosmos is coming out of his shell and she is very thrilled because she could see his true personality. "You shouldn't worry about pleasing everybody, you can't please them all but you can certainly please yourself and make sure you are very content and happy!" She says in gentle voice.
She laughs as she sees that Cosmos is blushing and using his wings to cover his face, she shakes her head before she squeaks in suprise and blushes when he passionately nuzzled her. Jaime makes soft pleased sounds with her voice before she turns her head toward his body, nuzzling him in return. But her ears swivels when she hears something scampering, she turns her head to see Cosmos standing in front of her protecting her. Her eyelids goes down half-way as she steps around, pressing her side against his side while her wing idly strokes his side, she leans her muzzle toward his cheek and nuzzling him tenderly. "Thank you.... for coming down and meeting me" She whispers.

Now what do I do? I never thought that the day would bring this about. What do I say? Is it safe to tell her more about my past now? I truely don't wish for this to end, but if she was to know what I've been through, she may not want to be with me, Cosmos thought as they snuggled closer and closer together.
He only nodded his head to acknowledge that he, too, was also glad that events had led up to what they had. It seemed fate was finally falling in his favor. For years and years he had endured so much pain, so much heartache, and so much pressure, that he was actually beginning to wonder if that was all life had in store for him.
As he nuzzled, he began to feel a warmth from inside, and it kept getting warmer. He knew his heart was now calling out for her, but he still had to be absolutely sure that this was what was meant to be.

Jaime-Lynn closes her eyes as she could feel her soul soaring above the clouds while her heart is fighting to get out of its prison so it could hug her love's heart. She uses her hoof to paw at the grasses, teasing the flavor to the top. She bends down and rips mouthful then offers some of the grass to him. Her dark purple eyes shone with happiness and some unknown emotions, she wasn't sure if its true love or just mere infatuation. But she doesn't mind, she was truly happy with Cosmos and nothing else really matters to her now.
"I wish we could stay like this.. forever." She thinks to herself as she sighs softly when she remember her children's father. He wined, dined and romanced her then left her when she got pregnant with her precious children. Her muzzle wrinkles up as she sighs lightly when she could feel the aniguish and anger aimed toward the babies' father.

As he graciously accepted the grass, Cosmos caught the sigh and wondered what could ail such a beautiful mare as she. Still, as she seemed to not try and devulge any further information from him, he, likewise, would grant her the same respects.
Some day... we may just be able to get to know more and more about each other. I just hope we last for that long, he thought to himself as the pounding of his beating heart grew more and more.
The afternoon sun began to breathe down its firery breathe, and Cosmos began to get a bit overheated. Yet, he was unsure if it was the sun that was making him feel as hot as he was or if him being with her added on to it. He nudged her a bit in an attempt to get her to follow him and walked off to a near by tree that cast a wide area of shade. He layed down and lifted his wing up and motioned with his head for her to lay there with him.

Jaime-Lynn smiles gently as he accepts her offer of grass, she bends down and grab herself some of the grass and munching on it while enjoying the company of the stallion who got her heart pumping so fast that she swore that her heart is in danger of bursting out of her chest. All of the day, she spent the time with Cosmos, either walking around or chatting about idle things. When the sun slowly makes it's trip down behind mountains, sending out the fiery colors blanketing everything including their bodies. She could feel the temperature rise slightly between them, she watches him walk over to the tree that have a wide berth of the shade and invites her to come and lay down with him.
She graciously accepts the invitation while her hooves makes soundless contact on the ground when she approaches them, her tails sways back and forth to the beat of her strides. She settles down against his body gratefully while leaning her head against his neck making content noises deep inside her throat.

Cosmos waited until she was comfortable and then draped his wing over her shielding her even more from the sun's harmful rays. He looked down and smiled at how peaceful she seemed to be. He wanted to picture this deep in the recess of his mind so that he would never again forget that peace truely did exist.
He sighed and nuzzled her mane. His heart screamed out at him, and he knew that if it could, it would come out of his chest and slap him several times in the face in hopes to have him wake up and realize the good thing he had in front of him.
I've lost many potential mates before because of my indecisiveness. Shall I fall vicitm to this yet again? he questioned himself. After a day like this he knew he couldn't lose her, but he was still cautious as to whether she would also leave his heart in shambles as many others had done before or be his for eternity.

Jaime-Lynn felt his wing draping over her body, she felt so loved, protected and content for the very first time in the long time. Only other time she felt like this is when her mother raised her with fierce love and determination to see the foals she took home to the herd grow up to be strong, opinationated and full with knowledge of the world. She drapes her two tails over his tail almost like they are holding hands but with tails.
She was very wary because she fallen for another stallion really hard and he tore her heart out along with two other chldren whom she seldomly saw after the birth.
She have cried and stayed up endless nights calling for her two lost foals and her old mate but they all haven't return her cries resulting in her heart tearing in half then shattered to millions and millions of pieces where she had to start all over again and rebuild her heart and nurse it back to health then rebuild the wall around her heart but more thicker. Cosmos easily broke through her wall and now have her heart so she is at the risk of getting her heart broken or perhaps they will be together forever and enjoy each other's company.

Cosmos smiled warmly seeing that Jaime was very peaceful there with him, and for once in his life he actually felt wanted, needed, and loved. As he lay there with her in his wing, he began to wonder if this was just some fantastic dream he had conjured up and that in reality he was just sleeping on top the mountain cold and alone.
Almost always since birth, he had lived his life alone and felt that was all he would ever be. Even his own mother and father had abandoned him. Then when being raised by a family that had taken him in, he was mistreated by his new parents and siblings, so he felt isolated even within the herd. Yet, he learned through it all to be strong and to look out for himself and those he cared about.
Now, he here lay, with someone who actually accepted him for who he was, and seemed to have the qualities of true love that he had searched for all of his life. He knew it was quick, and he was afraid to scare her away, but he could not let a moment like this pass him by.
He finally found enough courage and very shakingly asked, "Jaime? Is there any chance you would want to be my lifemate?"

Jaime-Lynn closes her dark purple eyes as she sighs softly in sheer contented manner. She finally felt at peace with herself and with the world, she sighs lightly while letting her mind wander off wondering about her children and how they are before the subject shifted to her wondering about if it is meant to be for her and Cosmos to be together. She flutters her wings lightly, making herself more comfortable while pressing against Cosmos' body. She was about to let out a pleased sigh when she could hear his voice getting ready to speak, she opens her eyess curiously while looking at Cosmos.
When he asked her to be his lifemate, her heart swells up with sudden love and happiness and she smiles widely at Cosmos. "I was hoping you will ask me that. Of course I do want to be your lifemate.. I love you, Cosmos." She says iin happy tone before she presses her muzzle against his muzzle in horse-version kiss.

Cosmos lost his voice for a second. He blinked twice and then nipped his leg just to make sure he really wasn't dreaming all of this. When he felt the searing pain coming from the spot he nipped, he knew this was no dream.
She said yes? She really truely said yes? Oh gosh! What now Cosmos?, he frantically thought to himself.
The excitement and the fear caught him both at once, and his body felt like it wanted to stay while his mind wanted to run. He shook his head to try and clear the negative thoughts from it, but nervousness soon took over and he hid his face in shame.
"I'm sorry. It's just you are so beautiful,... and... kind,... and smart," he stammered. "I just couldn't help myself, but you.... you said yes! You would actually want to be lifemates with me, but you don't even know everything I've been through. What if I say something that scares you? I....I.. I love you and truely want to be with you, but I don't want either of us to be hurt. I do want to be your lifemate and don't ever want to lose you, but I do have a tendancy to wind up alone as always."
He paused for a minute and let out a sigh. Then, suddenly he kissed her deeply.

Jaime sees him nipping his leg and she giggles lightly before she purrs lightly, nuzzling his neck when he hid his head. "Sweetheart, there is no need to apologize. They have brought you to me and I shouldn't complain because you seem to be perfect." She purrs lightly before she giggles at Cosmos. "In time.. we will know everything about each other.. and there is nothing you can say to scare me off. You won't wind up alone because you will have to kill me to get me away from you.. I finally found you.. I am not going to lose you." She whispers in loving manner before she immediately got silenced by a mindblowing kiss. She makes soft pleased sounds as she kisses back with every bit and pieces of her heart and soul, feeling like she should get up and set off into the air announcing her happiness.

Cosmos lost all thoughts of this ever not working out. Destiny would not have brought him here this day and time if it wasn't meant to be. He allowed himself to get lost in the moment and almost refused to release the kiss that seemed to last forever.
This was one moment he didn't want to forget if ever he did forget everything else. From that moment on, he swore loyalty, love, and protection to Jaime for an enitre lifetime and for many more after. He could not allow this one to slip from his fingers, and he knew he had to do everything possible to keep this burning he felt inside ablaze. If he were to ever lose the blaze, then the love would be gone.
He finally backed from the kiss and stood there just staring into her eyes. He saw the twinkle in them growing brighter, and he knew that she most likely felt the same way as he. He let out a sigh of relief knowing that his hardships were over and he has now found his way to his prize.

Her love for Cosmos burned with the intensity of ten thousand sun, the kiss they shared send the electric shocks throughout her body and she pratically could see the fireworks exploding behind her eyes. Jaime-Lynn makes this really happy sound with her throat before she feels him breaking the kiss. She makes soft protesting sound as she tries to move forward to keep the kiss going, her eyes dances with happiness and love that is being aimed toward Cosmos.
Jaime-Lynn smiles gently as she looks at Cosmos. "Thank you for coming down here.." She whispers as she kisses hs neck while snuggling with him, making equine-version of purring.

Cosmos heard her whisper her thanks, but didn't know how to respond. He was just so happy that it felt like he finally had met someone who wouldn't hurt him emmotionally time and time again and then leave him to wallow in his own tears and blood. This was still new to him, and he knew he would now have to adjust to a relationship truer than any other he'd been through before.
I only hope I can do and say the right things that will help keep this love going strong. I couldn't last through another heartache and heart break.
Cosmos looked upwards and saw the sun finally making it's way down to the horizon. The coolness of night began to slowly seep in, and the creatures of the night began their song. The stars began to come out one by one and the moon began to arise on the opposite of the sun set. It appeared it would be a gorgeous full moon night.
