I love Jaq! The mice are my favorite part of the movie, especially when they're singing!

In Dutch, Jaq constantly says, 'Yep yep!'. I've kinda adopted that phrase. blaugh

ladyrage randomchic i loved gus and jaq, they wer so funny in their own cute little mousy way, i really hated the cat (cant remember his name) and i always felt really sorry for bruno (the dog, i think thats his name) when the cat scratched him ,when they were all in the barn thingy and he got thrown outside, when it was clearly the cats fault yep 3nodding I think his name was Lucify

Bruno was sweet, but I like Gus Gus and Jaq best of all. That film used to make me cry especially wen Cinderella got locked up in her room. I'm Cinderella in this years pantomine!! xd blaugh 3nodding whee don't mind me lol

Yeah, there are some great name jokes in here.
The cat's name is Lucifer. Lucifer is one of the names of Satan. (It means "bright morning star" or "son of the morning", by the way.) The way that the mice pronounce it is "Lucifiee".
Gus' full name is Octavius. The emporer Augustus' birth name was Octavius. "Now, you'll need a name. I've got one. Ocatavius! But for short, we'll call you Gus."
I think that the names Anastasia and Drisella are some sort of joke, too, but I don't know what it is.

I was watching it again the other day. I'd forgotten how much I like Lucifer. xd I'm a cat person so it's hard not to like them even when they're being evil.

My favorite character has always been Cinderella. A few months ago in my Spanish II class we had to write a paper on Cinderella in Spanish, so we got to see the movie in Spanish. It was super fun! My favorite part had to be when the mice were making her dress because hearing them sing in that high pitch voice in Spanish can not be topped too easily!

Ha ha! That's great. In my high school French classes we'd watch a lot of Disney movies dubbed into French. I really liked francophone Cinderella. There's something great beyond words to hear those mice call Lucifer "chat chat".

Which they'd let us see movies in French or German class... Ah well. The mice in Dutch are pretty darn cute. Gus is named 'Pietertje', which is such a kawaii name, and all the mice call Lucifer 'miauw-miauw'. 4laugh

My favorite characters in Cinderella, are Jaq and Gus. They are both SO cute! (My foot's alseep! OW! It tingles!) But yeah, I love how Jaq takes Gus under his wing and stuff like that. I hate mice in real life, but they are so cute in cartoon! LOL! I hate Lucifer for trying to catch those mice, even though it's his job. The parts where he chased them always gave me nightmares when I was little.
