Nightmare1 Three words: Haunted Mansion Holiday. Only one park currently has it, and that is Disneyland. That, and my cousin lives in California, and it is always a delight to go to Disneyland with him. hail to the king, baby xp [loves HMH]

I was able to get it in my youth, while I was in high school, at the age where I would most enjoy it. ^ ^

Well I never been to disney world crying But I went to disney land. But I think the best one is disney world because I think its more bigger and theres also more stuff to do over there. But disneyland is also cool.I think the best ride is at the California side is the tower of terror. I like that ride because its so realistic to the movie and when it goes down really fast it feels like your going to fall off your seat. 3nodding And I like that feeling.

I've been to both Disneyland and Disney World. It's just that, when I walk into Disneyland I feel like I'm just going somewhere for fun, but when I walk onto Main Street at Disney World I feel like I'm home. I love Disney World because of it's size, and it really is hard to get bored with so much to do around you. Even going through the resorts are fun. My family and I spent our whole day at the Wilderness Lodge out on the Lagoon in boats called "Water Mice" or something like that, which was alot of fun.

I think its hard to compare WDW to DLR theyre just soo different. WDW is so much larger than DLR that it beats it by the sheer number of activities and attractions available.
I think it would be more fair to compare the Magic Kingdom to Disneyland. I think Disneyland is better than the Magic Kingdom because it is more quaint and has way more attractions than MK does. Disneyland also is the only park Walt Disney actually worked on. Pirates of the Caribbean is way better at DL than MK. DL also has the matterhorn and Indian Jones adventure both missing at MK.
I may be a bit biased though since ive only been to WDW once. I dont know how many times ive been to Disneyland because im a Deluxe Annual Pass holder at DLR. And the fact that i goto DLR probably once every other week (ive been the parks at least 6 times this year alone).

It's not entirely true that Disneyland was the only park Walt worked on. Disneyland is the only park that Walt got to see through till the opening, but he was very much involved in the construction of Walt Disney World. Right down to putting an apartment for his family in the castle! It was his pet project, which is why it's the only theme park that bears his full name.
Then again, I'm biased too. heart

It was Roy who chose to name the resort Walt Disney World in memory of his late brother.

Reiyuka Since I live in Europe, there's only a Disneyland, but it's in Paris. So I've never actually been to it yet. It's a bit too far away from where I live. But still, I'd love to go there once. DL paris is kinda fun. I have been there in 2000.

Having Never been to WDW I think its hard to compare them. However given what I know DL is better. For one thing: well we have a smaller part. BUt out president ruined the plans to expand and add a third park. This new president is Bringing back Dead areas and rides!

I haven't been to both, but I can say Disneyland flat out. True, Disneyworld might be bigger and have more parks, it doesn't have the magic and heart that went into it. Personally, I think Disneyland is better because it is smaller. Disneyland is the original that started it all, Walt poured his heart out in that theme park and still today that magic lives on.
To be blunt, my old english teacher was apart of this small program around Southern California. They took juvie's to Disneyland and the instant they went in, their attitude was better and they've changed for the better, just by going to Disneyland. And I highly doubt it was from a deprived childhood. He said the reaction they would get if they took them to WDW wouldn't even come close as the reaction at DL.
