You really think so? I hardly think they are great. What I think it is, my sub-conscious thinks about things that I do not. Perhaps it is just a release of emotion that I do not realize is there.
I hate being tied down by rhymes or actual structured work. Even if I think about what I am writing, I only write it in free verse. If I manage to find this other thing I did recently, there may be some fun. It is actually a riddle, but riddles tend to be in a poetic form.

Hah, you sound like the opposite of me. I can't seem to escape from my rhymes. I'm going to be practicing freeverse, but all but one of my poems rhymes. And yes, I do think your works are good.

Thank you for the complements.
Free verse, to me at least, is just like speaking except you add more creative elements into the mix. That is just what I think of it though. I do not know if that helps you in any way, but I do hope it does help.

It does, really. And no problem for the compliments; you deserve them! If you have any more pointers, throw them my way!

Honestly, it feels difficult to throw pointers your way, because most of what I do flows freely. I just try to observe what is happening and hope I can get something out of it. Perhaps gain some insight so that I could call on that part of me by will. So far it has been a failure really.
If I find something that may help, I'll be sure to let you know.

Here is something that literally just came up. Not worked up, fixed, or anything. Just letting it go and thanks for a bit of inspiration Isis.
Born into a world unfair, I fight to win a hand against a stacked deck. Life threw me into a world I do not deserve, Against the Fates I fight. I throw in my lot against destiny, In attempts to change my path. I shall move on to a new beginning, Another throw of the dice.
Again I say, this is something that just came up. It has not been changed in anyway. I really wouldn't like to change it, but there is something that seems to bug me that needs changing. I can't put my finger on it right now though.

May I ask in what way did I offer inspiration for that lovely poem?
*edit* Oh...nevermind.. I just read what you wrote in my thread. hehe ^^

I wasn't very specific in my reasoning in either of the posts, and for that I am quite sorry. Here is how it went.
After reading the very end the word destiny just seemed to click in my head, and all of these words and lines came up. Thus, you were an inspiration for me.

*rolls eyes* ya know this seems really mean but you guys seem only to deny something to get more opinions...well Isis more so probably *shakes head ruefully* My words are all gone...when I've gone through an inspirational binge I can never get my words out right so that I don't have to re-explain it...anyway excellent work all around!

Though it seems mean, I do not consider it as such. Honestly, I do not see what is grand about what I do. I consider the Divine Comedy as a work of art, but I do not see Nature Walking(mine) as anything even close to as good and I would be a fool to think it would be. Thank you for your complements though. Is there anything that I could do to make what I do better?

I applaud you good sir... *Rises and claps hands* Bravo! *bows* Thank you. I probably won't add a title to it yet, though I might need to considering most what I do doesn't have a title. By the way, have you been working on your little book lately? Or have you been too busy?

hmmm...I'm no expert on poems so I can't really tell you what to change, but on many I feel something is missing-but I can never put my finger on it...
