*Isn't used to having such a loyal yojimbo and get's a little giddy over all the help. She beams him a smile before picking up a set of chopsticks out of her bedside table drawer. She eats a quick mouthful of soup before replying thoughtfully...*
"Well in all honesty... none of my other protectors were nearly as thourough..."
*she pauses and adds a little embarrsed at the thought.*
"Although Shinigami probably would be if I allowed him... I doubt he'll be too happy when he get's back from his little journey..."

*Gouken shrugs as he takes a seat at the foot of her bed, eyeless gaze pointed at the wall ahead of him.*

*She eats another couple of mouthfuls and coughs a little, turning her head sideways out of politeness. She holds a hand to her throat a moment and clears it before looking back to him.*
"He probably would never leave my side if I didn't threaten him within an inch of his life to give me my space. That's part of the reason I sent him on a journey... he was driving me up the proverbial wall!!"
*she frowns at her tray lost in her own thoughts momentarily and then adds,*
"And he's due back any day now..."

*Gouken looks unconcerned, yet his thoughts dwell on the other man. He wonders what events would pass with his returning.*

*She looks at him a little curiously when he says this and her brow creases with worry suddenly as she remembers the incident with Shinigami and Folken. Distress sweeps through her mind with that memory and she chokes down a sob*

*She scrubs at her eyes with the backs of her hands and fights back tears as so many memories fight to flood into her mind. She pales slightly and trys to shake it off not succeeding.*
"N-n-no... I-I'm fine..."

*Her expression contorts with duress as she tries to make sense of the jumbled up memories and feelings that come with them. It had been just over 3 months now but the pain in some area's was still raw. She tries to figure out a way to explain it to him and can't so instead she just mindflashes him a few select memories of that nights events. before breaking down into a sobbing wreck.*

*He makes a move, hesitates, then shifts over beside her, embracing her in a comforting hug.*

*She chokes down her sobs for a moment and then letting him take her into his arms she leans into him and turns a tear streaked face to him, her lip trembling slightly.*
"You do?"

Including to fiancees to which my feelings were quite strong. I know what it's like to lose someone important." *He releases her from the hug, wiping the tears he can't see from her face and rubbing her shoulder assuredly.*

*Sierra smiles wistfully as she thinks about all the people she's lost over the centuries of her existance. But before she can dissolve into hysterics she clamps down on her emotions tightly and reminds herself of what she told Emerald earlier that day. She can't live her life through regrets so instead she forces a smile and blushes slightly as Gouken wipes away her tears. She lean into him and picking her chop sticks back up nods*
"Arigatou... I'm sorry. I know I'm not the only one to have lost people I care about... It was selfish of me..."
*she stares down the still steaming bowl of soup and grins before cheering*
"Itadekimasu!"
