Husitka professorB Never seen it. ANyhoo, I forgot a few people: Morgan Freeman Laurence Fishburne Al Pacino Hayley Joel Osment David Duchovny I haven't seen many films with Laurence Fishburne and David Duchovny, so I can't tell. I LOVE Morgan Freeman and Al Pacino. I've seen only The Sixth Sense with Haley Joel Osment but I think he's really good. The main reason I like David Duchovny was because of the X-Files TV show, but he was really good in House of D. You should check out AI: Artificial Intelligence. Hayley Joel Osment was really good in that movie.

I've seen these series, it was worth watching but I didn't find anything special about his performance in there.
Sorry, oops. I've seen A.I. Of course. Haley was great in there! The film was awesome. How could I have forgotten???

I really though David Duchovny put a lot of personality into the character. I simply couldnt imagine anyone else being Mulder.
Hayley is an excellent actor. Its a real shame how child actors always end up messed up. I believe he's 17 right now and he's already been arrested for drunk driving.

Yep, it sometimes happens you can't imagine anybody else in a certain role but still there's a possibility that another actor could be better in that part. blaugh
I must admit I didn't realize how much he's grown up until I saw a photo of his in a magazine. It was a real shock for me cos I remembered him as a child actor and suddenly there was a young man. I've read somewhere an article about his accident and I felt a bit sad. But I don't agree with you that child actors ALWAYS end up like this. Elijah Wood is one of my favourite actors, he was a famous child actor and has quite easily and without bigger problems turned to a famous and respected adult actor. In my opinion, education and background are vital and when parents do say to their child actor: "Well, you're famous but it doesn't mean you're somehow special, you must act as normal people to keep your feet on the ground..." and so on, it doesn't have to end as badly. But even adult actors have got very often problems with drugs and alcohol cos they've got much more possibilities to yield to it (money, parties, pressure on them...) and they should be more aware of showbiz dangers, so no surprise that child actors yield even more often.

If I listed everybody I loved to death, this post would not only take forever to write, it'd take up too much space and people would have another birthday before they finished reading it. sweatdrop
So I'll just say favorite actor is Johnny Depp.

Trinity92 my favorite actress/actors are -Carrie Anne-Moss -Sandra Bullock -Uma Thermin -Keanu Reeves(great job in devils advocate) Hi, Trinity92.
I must admit I haven't seen many films with Carrie-Anne Moss.
It's different with Sandra Bullock of course but I think her problem is choosing bad or not very interesting movies. If she had chosen her roles more carefully, she could have been a really big star by now - she's got everything for becoming a great movie star (looks, talent, charisma) but you must also choose interesting films, which she unfortunately quite often doesn't in my opinion.
Yeah, Uma Thurman is very interesting but again, I haven't seen many pictures with her (Kill Bill, Gattaca, Pulp Fiction and some comedy with a typical change of characters where Janeane Garofalo was playing as well).
Keanu Reeves - ah yes. lol

Steve Buscemi. surprised
And, to barge in on someone elses conversation, I don't think Keanu Reeves is a very good actor, mostly he's got this weird voice, or speaking style. Something. sweatdrop

mister.midnight I like: Humphrey Bogart Judy Garland Ingrid Bergman Cary Grant James Stewart Anthony Hopkins Jodie Foster Marlon Brando Al Pacino Robert De Niro Christopher Walken Marlene Dietrich Sally Field Tom Hanks Fred Astaire and more... Oh, I must admit I don't like these "classical" actors much. I don't like the style of their acting. But I do agree with some of them though. wink
Ingrid Bergman, James Stewart, Marlon Brando (though he was a weird personality smile ) for instance.
And more topical: Anthony Hopkins, Jodie Foster, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks...
I'd add Steve McQueen and Johnny Depp. I mentioned J.D. cos he likes trying new things, doesn't want to stay in a stereotype and doesn't consider himself as a star. I like these actors.
