I tried to watch Grave of the Fireflies but it was too sad...my sister was crying so hard within the first 5 minutes that she couldn't see so we gave up.

Try searching Isao Takahata, Miyazaki's friend. He is the producer of Nausicaa and probably more.

i own/have seen grave of the fireflies, and it is sooooooooooo depressing. and the thing about that movie is that things like that do really happen. it makes people look back on their/their country's/their world's mistakes...
