My favorite aside from the Count of Monte Cristo would have to be Cyrano De Bergerac. Aside from great acting and it's slight humor, who doesn't love seeing such sword fighting that makes Zorro look like a chump. xp

I'd have to say Princess Bride is my favorite, it has actions, romance, cheesy 80s acting, and a man in a mask heart . I love the other movies, espcially Zorro, but Princess Bride wins out for most enjoyable swordfight scene. The one on the cliffs is the best! "I know something you don't know!" "Oh, what is that?" "I am not left handed!" Awsome! I actually know a fencer who is amibidextrose! He always complains that it is illegal to switch hands during a bout.

I prefer Princess Bride. I remember last year. My entire fencing team was looking for something to watch on TV, so we decided on Pirates of the Carribean. We were criticizing it so bad... "You can't do that! You'd die..."
Or,
"You'd fall off way before then! What are some of these people on?"
