Thank goodness my parents don't mind much. I'm not proud to say I'm rather spoiled.

Well, dad won't let us use the dish washer unless there are deemed enough dishes to make it "worth the water". Otherwise we wash them and set them in the dishwasher to dry.

Oh, that sounds like it sucks.
Usually, we use the dishwasher a lot. Though we put as many dishes as it can allow before turning it on.

We're renting right now, and our dishwasher is the kind you have to connect to your sink, and we use it rarely.
I don't do the dishes though. Just scoop out the rice for dinner.
