Allaraina Black Phoenix Rising I play AD&D (YES I believe you can be a christian and still play a game based on your God given imagination, and my players call me Satan because I don't let them get away with cheesiness when they game under me,) YES!!! Hello. My name is Lyndis, but feel free to call me by my real name, Jade. I'm fifteen, and in the eleventh grade. I'm homeschooled with Bob Jones University. I currently reside in Georgia, but am hoping to move to Michigan after highschool. I'm a strong christian, but would like to grow even more in Christ. Someone invited me to this guild, and I thought it would be nice to check it out. ^^

Basic Info: I am obsessed with Xena, like Star Trek, read and write a lot and am currently working on a novel I want to get published.
About my faith: I never really believed in Jesus when I was younger and found my way to paganism and then to Wicca. I then realized that I really do not believe in many gods, but believed only in a higher power. Then I turned to buddhism, but that was not for me either and soon took a liking to taoism. I then heard if I don't choose Jesus, then I'll go to hell. I thought "Well, hey, that is really freaking scary. I don't want to be abandoned in hell because I don't believe!!!" So then I decided that maybe I should give Christianity a shot since I'd only taken in the bad of the Roman Catholics that I'd been exposed too.
Why I am here: To hear more from faithful believers so that I can try and accept Jesus into my heart. ... and to learn to ignore the meany people who want to tell me "then just believe!" like growing in the faith is that darn easy...

I'll be 17 in november.I like to draw and read and play video games.Im not a christian, but my mother is, she sangs with a christian band called the Two More Hands, biggrin . Hi! My name's Katherine. I'm 22 yrs old, i guess i'm one of the oldest here... redface My username means good friend... Actually I got it from the anime CardCaptor Sakura. I'm a graduate of Physical Therapy and now a PT volunteer at a certain hospital in Pasig City. Btw, I'm filipino and I must say, Christians are kinda overruled by Catholics here... And they have different ways of praising God... I'm not yet a full-fledged Christian like my aunt but I would want to be baptized as a Christian someday in the near future... biggrin I have a lot of favorite verses from the bible but they're too many to mention here... One of my favorite quotes would be: "Bless God for what you have, Trust God for what you need"
I would like to thank the mods for accepting me here... I really, really would love to interact w/ a Christian community like this and share my thoughts and experiences (if any) about God and Christianity... thank you!!

Wow! It's so great to have you guys fer real biggrin
looking forward to sharing thoughts, experiences, and the Gospel will all of you. 3nodding
I can say that I only really gave my life to Christ just early this year... believe it or not, it was after I saw the Passion of the Christ. It's like something grabbed my shoulders and shook me awake. There's nothing like seeing it depicted visually... To think someone did that for me... and to think that He must have been looking at me now here in the future along with all the rest of us and it motivated Him to carry out the mission. I never realized how important it was to read the Bible too, especially beginning with the Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, etc.) I read some just about everyday, meditate on it, and talk to friends(like you) and family about what Christ did for me. Man, all i can say is that He really is the "truth, the way, and the Life!"
When I accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour, it's like a weight of guilt and shame lifted off of me, I used to do some pretty messed up things and my heart wasn't complete in His sight and He paid my debt! I learned more about Him and spoke to Him and read his Word, He still continues to leave me in awe! And He gives me so much peace and joy and love, no matter what goes on around me. He kept me together when my mom nearly died from kidney failure... I prayed and prayed and leaned on Him during that time, it was hard, but now my mom is back on her feet like it never happened! It wasn't her time. Right now I encourage my mom to pray and read the Bible too.
You guys, the message of the Gospel I learned is SO simple that even a little kid could understand it lol xd Jesus Christ Himself said that what is required is simple, childlike faith.(A million miles away from naivete' mind you lol). Seriously, it makes sense! Overanalysis is a killer >_<.
I do art work so I'm planning on working on a Biblical manga so I can help reach the manga audience wink He gave me my talent after all so I want to use it for Him heart
Plus, it's gonna be lots of fun. I'm currently working on characer designs and dynamics and researching the culture and clothing at that time.
