Shikamaru's head wavered as he began to doze off a bit. Trying to stay awake to catch the sunset, which was most likely in a few hours anyways, he shook his head. If he DID fall asleep, it'd most likely be until tomorrow... Or for a few weeks. Didn't matter anyways, he was just bored and didn't need a search paper to be posted in the village square by his parents.
Or maybe his father was still too pissed off. Or drunk. He might fall over and roll into a ditch and stay there to the point of Shikamaru's mother having to make a paper for both of them and traveling to the square herself. Troublesome.
While shaking his head, he noted Ero-sennin on top of the Hokage's house. Probably making another book or whatever he did. He didn't care; what he did care about was the fact that he was able to see that the nin had spotted him too.
What does he want...?

He then turned around to fall asleep. Now he was tired.

Hatake Kakashi strutted down the streets of Konoha, Icha Icha in hand, towards the mission office. He was amused by the looks the he received for those that didn't know him. Many civilians didn't seem to know if they wanted to gawk at the powerful jounin or cover their children's eyes so as not to question them about what he was so casually reading. With an unseen smile he continued on his way.

Shikamaru turned over a bit, his eyes traveling to the jounin walking towards the Hokage's House. He sighed as he sat up slowly. An eyebrow raised up as he stared carefully at the man, a thought crossing his mind.
'What's he doing reading that pervert crap?'
Shikamaru has never witnessed many read that, or he just didn't pay attention. But he sure as hell hadn't seen Kakashi read it before. Unless that book he read when he performed the Leaf Village Secret Jutsu was Icha Icha. The Chuunin shook his head and jumped down in front of Kakashi.
He poked the book, trying to get his attention.
"Hey, Kakashi-sensei... What're you doing reading that troublesome crap?"

Kakashi lowered his book enough to see who was bothering him. His visible eye curved in a happy arch upon seeing the newly appointed chunnin whose lazyness was close to rivaling his own.
"Mah Shikimaru, Icha Icha is not troublesome crap, it's a great work of genius literature. I could read it to you as proof, but I don't think Iruka sensei would like that." The jounin ruffled the boy's dark hair, making to continue on to his destination.
