Mostly DEATH Metal, Norwegian Black Metal and some Metalcore.

i have to say i joined cus they were my favorite of all favs but i have lost every ounce of respect they havent made a CD let alone a song in like what 2 yrs??? and its like they are great but its tiring listneing to the same songs over and over

wat the hell u lost all respect...wtf they hav done this before corey( cool and james(4) r in another band stone sour and joey(1) is in murderdolls they are all doing there own stuff and expect new stuff in 2008 and sid is now dj starscream til slipknot gets back together(aftre stone sour is doe touring) and shawn jus got finished with voliminal which was released recently so buy it and it mite help u understand wat is happening

There that is somewhat accurate, it doesn't really matter to me after Korn i kinda like them all the same

3. Stone Sour- disgrace to slipknot
4. Pantera- sound too much like Metallica
5. Trapt- i don't know why i did in the first place

stone sour..... come on people......

Dunno what the hell you're laughing at cause Stone Sour have been around since 1992 when they released their first demo tape. Corey and Jim where rocking out way before they were asked to join SlipKnoT in 1996. Stone Sour themselves have a very intriguing sound that's completely different from SlipKnoT mainly because the band is more on the melodic side instead of the rough force edged side. In fact they won a Grammy for their Self titled album in 2002 something SlipKnoT have never been able to do to date.

Never EVER mention that Stone Sour is a disgrace to SlipKnoT because it's actually the opposite way around. SlipKnoT is a DISGRACE to Stone Sour. Learn your facts first before you open your big mouth.
