Karu nodded, closing his eyes for several moments, thinking about the past.
Flashback:
Karu slashed with his Psychic Blade at the puppetmaster, scowling as the chuunin danced out of his way. "Fine then. If you choose to mock me, then you will die by those words!" The genin formed a series of handsigns, his eyes glowing with the flowing chakra. "OFUDA NO KAI!" But before he could complete the jutsu, another voice called, "Chakra-Kujiku no Jutsu!" and just as quickly as he had summoned the chakra, it disappeared.
Karu turned around in rage at the man responsible for holding him back.
"Yamanaki..." he whispered. Of course, it was all falling into place now. "No, not just Yamanaki... the whole village. Sasori-sama, Yamanaki, Father, all of them, they hated and feared me because they feared what I was capable of... So they put this infernal seal on me and tried to stop me from realizing my potential..." He looked up at Baku. "That is what has been holding me back. My village and my clan..."

Karu looked down at himself, tearing the sash with his clan symbol off, as well as his headband, allowing silver hair to fall unrestrained down his neck. "I cast them aside, fully and completely. Baku-sama, what else is there that you would have me do?"
