Back on the subject of Yoshiki...Awhile back I bought his Eternal Melodies 2 thing...I kinda didn't get around to listening to it for awhile. And I was kind of disappointed sweatdrop . I liked the first song on there for awhile.."Unamed song" Was it? But the more I listened to the piano the more it ticked me off. I mean, I don't mind X Japan, I really like some of their songs but, Yoshiki seems a bit overreated on his piano abilities? It just seemed that Eternal Melodies, for me, was NOT that great of an album, since I didn't really enjoy listening to it (Skipped most of the track after the first 2 minutes anyway >.>)) . Mind you, I know almost nothing about music, ((and I'm not listening to it now)) But his piano playing seemed really...Sucky sweatdrop I think I'll just stop before this becomes totally incoherant..heh.

I like X-Japan... but then again, I like Poison, Ratt, KISS, Twisted Sister and Van Halen, too.
...and Megadeth, Slayer, ACDC, Black Sabbath, Living Colour, Bad Brains, Anthrax, and King Crimson as well. I was raised on metal, so I guess I appreciate it more than most. I'm a sucker for the over the top guitar work and 20 minute drum solos.

Nega Knight I like X-Japan... but then again, I like Poison, Ratt, KISS, Twisted Sister and Van Halen, too. ...and Megadeth, Slayer, ACDC, Black Sabbath, Living Colour, Bad Brains, Anthrax, and King Crimson as well. I was raised on metal, so I guess I appreciate it more than most. I'm a sucker for the over the top guitar work and 20 minute drum solos. If you love the genre, that's cool. The people that would never be caught dead listening to metal that meantion their undying love for X-Japan just seem .... odd. confused

They got me into music other than hip-hop. I'd say I grew up on them, but I grew up on Beatles and Ella Fitzgerald. And yeah, my friend who's the biggest XJAPAN fan I know is also the biggest metal fan I know. surprised
