"I see..." Vulcan mumbled. He turned to Ju, "Have you any information to tell? Perhaps it will help us unlock the recent murder."

Ana waited somewhat impatiently. Vulcan could have imformed Izuma about the murder. Since they both found out about it at the same time, she really wasn't needed.

Ju informs Lord Vulcan of the past fortnight and the skirmishes they endured. "The natives were they're usual unruliness, but I believe that I have been gone to long to know anything of the recent murder. Please forgive me on that."

Ana nodded. "It happened just before all of you came back. I was leaving the scene when I heard Izuma was coming back, so a diverted my course."

"The usual...man with dagger protruding from his chest. His face mared beyond recognition. About the age of 20." She spoke about it very nonchalantly. "Of course this was in the middle of the street with no witnesses (that have come forward anyway unless something new has arrived) to the crime." She gave Izuma and Vulcan a meaningful look. "One down...nineteen to go."

"Which means there's going to be more murders," Vulcan added to Ana's statement. "The nation is already in a fragil state because of all the events that have happened so rapidly." He folded his arms and lowered his head in thought. "Perhaps we should contact the other nations and tell them to be extremely cautious. Surely we can't be the only nation being targeted. Izuma?" He turned to his friend, "Any orders?"

((Ahh, back to me.))
The nation's leader had been taking in all this new information, considering every detail with a thoughtful "hmm" noise. He nodded at Vulcan's request to send out messengers.
"Yes...yes. Ju, rally all men who are willing to make trips to the neighboring nations. Two groups - however many are in each one, I care not. Be sure to have each group include a report of all that's happened here, and make sure it catches the eyes of both Queen Wolf and King Zulu."
As he finished, Izuma began to slowly shake his head. Too much was happening in so little time. He still needed some time to recover after nearly losing his own will the day before.
"Ugh...my head hurts. Curses...agh."

Ju bows her head and leaves his presence, continuing down one of the many halls of the cold fortress, pulling her hood up once again.

"Ju's right, M'lord," Vulcan said, "It's a lot thrown at you all at once. Besides, you have just returned home. Go and rest. You can go more in depth with these problems in the morning."

Ana agreed. "Aye, Vulcan has already overseen the country for a few weeks. What is another day going to hurt?" She gave the two very sharp nods and troted off back into the town.

Ju continued down the hallway, listening to the voices of Vulcan and Ana becoming faint. She walked down a set of stairs and through a corridor to where many of the soldiers are housed. She approached a half-armored man, scaring him since she hadn't made any sound coming in.
"I need two groups of six men, and don't stiff me this time," she hisses, and the man walks off, returning later with two groups, both with strong soldiers.
Saddle your horses, we ride tonight.

((Gah, sorry for the...major...delay in this reply. Nearly a week...))
For the first time in what felt like an eternity, Izuma was able to get a sastifying sleep...in fact, just sleep in general. He awoke refreshed, fully prepared to be knocked down by the stress of all that's happening.
That morning, he consulted with some seers and librarians, describing what creatures were discovered dwelling North of the borders. He hoped that they might unveil some information about them.
