Langlen AlysBrangwin My bf is considering getting a PSO game (and I've convinced him to try out the Genesis ones too. wink ) , but he wants to know which one/s are playable both online and offline (preferably mostly offline), and which system. (He has all the current gen consoles BTW, so it doesn't matter which system.) All of the PSOs are playable offline. how about the one on xbox? i went to the store today and i saw that they had pso episode 1 & 2 on one disc, but when i read the back of it, it said that its only played online.

You have to have an Xbox Live account (not active, just a name really), but it's playable offline. (That's the one I own)

I just got the Gamecube version. The Episodes 1 & 2 +. It was an impulse buy... sweatdrop
I didn't get the third one because I already have Baten Kaitos and right now one card based battle system is enough. Took me awhile to figure out Baten Kaitos...
So far I like it though. It's different. Not like the other games but it reminds me of .hack
And i really like the .hack games.
I am using the female hunter numan chick. HUnewearl right? I'm up to the cave but I can't beat the damn worm. I'm level 19. Maybe I need to level up.... sweatdrop
I'll go back through the cave. I need more meseta anyway.
I didn't know what you lost all your meseta when you die.d I lost 4k that way. Now I deposit all my money before I leave the ship.

You don't need a cable to sign up for Live, just buy a starter kit. But, if you don't have a Gamertag, you can't play the offline version.

Well usually I find it. I like the autogun and the daggers. I'm not too keen on the big sword or the slasher. Even though they hit alot of enemies at once the swing is too slow.

That's why it's more of a distance weapon, Miss Tia. I'm close to level 50 right now on Hard mode of EP 1. I'm trying to get every rare item I can before I head on, myself.

For your situation, using the autogun and the daggers, I'd still recommend a good sword. Not the big one, but a Brand- you should be able to use one at your level. Use the autogun when he's far away, like along the raft and all. When he jumps in close, switch to the Brand, and attack away. Keep a good stock of Mono/Di/Trimates, and if you can, have a Scape Doll or two. Keep at it, and you should defeat the b*****d.
(I beat Ep 1 on Hard myself, and my chara's level is around 47. Been awhile, I need a new copy of the Xbox version. I do know that I have him equipped with the G-Assasin's Sabers. Kick. a**. Weapon. Still can't beat Ep. 2 on normal. that final boss is a b***h.)

Hi im new here and it seems i joined the entirely wrong guild (i play pso and dont know much about the "originials")
But im willing to learn about them. Always wanted to know aobut them
