"Not terribly long, Rose," Reus said, still reclined in her chaise. "That certainly was some reverie you were trapped in."
Reus kept her eyes fixated on Rose, while her assistant rushed over to assist the young woman back into her chair. Twirling a section of white hair around her finger, the magi seemed lost in thought.
"Has this happened before, Rose?" Reus said, keeping her voice calm. Few things surprised her after her lifetimes spent, but she still felt concern when bizarre things happened to other people. "Not that it's my business, but I do feel concerned when people slip into trances and then collapse on my parlour floor."

"Well...now that you mention it...it's happened once before. But that was a long time ago. You see..." she sighed, making her self comfortable again in the chair.
Nemo lept to curl in his master's lap as she told her story.
"I can't remember past three years ago. I was found wandering around the woods. According to the people that found me, I had amnesia. They took me back to their village, and the families took turns taking care of me. They dubbed me Rose, and I went from house to house, working to earn my keep. Other nice people though, began to pay me for my work as I got older. Eventually I made enough money to buy the magical cottage I live in now....But I have had these fainting spells twice now. And I have weird dreams. It's like.....I'm trying to remember something."
Rose took a deep breath, pausing just a moment to do so before carrying on. "It always starts with me, in this big manor at night. And I have this pretty dress on....and then.....there's something chasing me....I don't understand. What does it mean?"

"Well, if its amnesia, then perhaps your memory is finally starting to unlock itself," Reus said, trying to remain neutral in the situation. "I'd recommend seeing a doctor or cleric. Such things are out of my realm of expertise."
Playing with her teacup, she listened to the girl's story with a statuesque demeanour. She preferred avoiding getting tangled up in other people's problems. It was the reason she arrived at Sir Luger's appointment in singed clothes and unkempt hair. Getting involved was simply something that Reus hoped would not happen, but she certainly couldn't kick the girl out the door.
"The people who found you," Reus started, trying not to be rude. "Do they have the clothes you were found in? Or any knowledge of nobles vanishing in the past few years?"

"They do...at least I think so," Rose began. "But I haven't seen it in a long while. I'd almost forgotten about it since you reminded me. The last time I saw it...I think...they just put it in a storage chest. It wasn't in the best shape as I recall."
With a little wave of her finger, she drew up an image in the air for Reus to see. "Like this."
"And no, there wasn't any word of nobles disappearing. Come to think...there really aren't any high class areas around there at all....It made everyone kind of on edge when I showed up I suppose. I'm sorry for troubling you with this. It's really nothing for you to be concerned about. You're a busy woman after all."
((sorry but I like having pictures with a story. xD; Anyway I wasn't sure how long you wanted their meeting to be. So do feel free to kick Rose out if you want. XD ))

"Well, I hope that you sort things out," Reus said, smiling softly. "Don't push yourself too hard, it might come as a shock if you do."
Sipping her tea again, the bell tower chime sounded causing the mage to unfortunately roll her eyes. Smiling at Rose and her feline friend again, Reus rose to her feet.
"Unfortunately, that chime means I have a council meeting to go police," Reus said, setting her cup on the tray. "We will have to part ways for now, Rose, but I will contact you when your Legian awakes. Do take care of yourself until then."

"I shall," Rose said with a bow. "And thank you very much." She leaned over once more, this time to scoop up Nemo. The cat mewed, and waved a paw, almost as if saying 'goodbye'. "Farewell then," and with that, Rose showed herself to the door; quietly disappearing into the vast corridors of the castle to where she would find the Exit.
