whee. Ah, this isn't even all of the first chapter. XP Oh, 4 votes?! Yay! I have supporters! Oh, here's mine and AKC's explanation for this pairing:

Akari and Rik are compatible because they're opposites, but still have some common ground that could bring them together. Akari's rich and famous, Rik's poor and lowly, everyone adores/admires Akari, while Rik often goes unnoticed. But their common ground is that they're both sensitive, loving, and a little kooky. I think they'd work out in the event that they ever met.

They're from opposite worlds, but they're so similar too! In personailty, I mean. In addition to what AKC has said, they're both thick-headed, LOL. And, Akari seems like the kind to care about everything, so she might even love animals too! Plus, Akari is such a gullible person, and she's really naive, while Rik is a fatherly figure. Akari in some ways is like Pyoko, and Rik seems like a pretty chivalrous guy. It would be really cute, and likely, that he would want to protect her, while Akari might want someone like that in her life. She doesn't seem to have much of a family, unless you count Rod, who's a real weirdo. *I do explore this in my fic. XD domokun
