Hojeeze ...
If that blush could get any bigger ... She shook her head and offered a slight grin.
"A-Aurora. Yus .. ehe."
An awkward silence that followed. She wasn't liking the way this was going and decided .. maybe it was time to have her old childhood self kick in. With an air of gusto and youthfulness, she did a little chick-tackle of Caden to the ground. Playfully. And there she sat on his chest looking down with a wide smile on her face.
She bounced off, lurking around the older brute.
"You've been here long, then? The shop I mean."

((..))
Some distance away, Blade could hear a bit of commotion going on closer to the shop. He would have gone to see what was happening, but his two hatchlings had just started to tumble down a small slope after Serwa had tackled her 'sibling' again.
The dark green male certainly didn't seem to be liking all of this activity, which made him growl slightly at the other. However, that did little to make her back off, so continued she played.
"Graaa!!"
"Take it easy on him Serwa," chuckled Blade.

Raistlin couldn't help but snicker slightly when Caden came bounding out. He looked away but his toothy grin could've been spotted by anyone."It appears I'm not the only one in the babysitting 'boat'..." He trailed off slightly as he watched Caden leave. Yes...he and Nova would get along perfectly...two completely clueless peas in a pod that would fall off the plant and roll around. "Oh...and Terri?" He blinked over at her, his expression neutral before it broke into another grin."Don't try so hard...that actually looked painful...."
Nova continued to wander about, happily looking in each direction a grin plastered on his face despite the fact he'd gotten completely lost. Yes...he'd been on the path...and he'd gotten lost. That little fact didn't seem to bother him at all. Infact, he was more focused on the strange little growling noises he heard ahead. Blinking curiously he raised his tail blade to whack at the blocking bush ahead. The bush didn't stand a chance and was cleaved right off it's roots and it flopped to the side. Crouching down he then glanced around and finally spied the source of the noise. Two little hatchlings were playing....well more like rolling around down the hill together...same difference. Swinging his tail safely behind him he continued to watch the two children intently, fighting every little urge that told him to go play with them.

Terri managed to pull her gaze away from the sickeningly idiotic and child-like behaviour of Caden's to realize Raistlin had begun to talk again. His toothy grin made her blood begin to boil slightly. What was the grin about? "Mine was not assigned to me by one so old his scales cracked off his body." She replied gruffly, trying at an insult and not knowing how it sounded when she said it. Hey, it sounded better in her head. She might not be that good at insults, but Raist seemed to major in it. "Like you could pull it off, being nice to an imbicile such as that." Her eyes were narrowed in a defiant manor, one that might seem that she was beginning to get annoyed when in fact she was enjoying talking to Raistlin, another like herself whom didn't seem to be able to stand the idiocy and such of others.
The tackle came as a total surprise to Caden as he looked at Aurora, who was now sitting on his chest. Lucky for him she was smaller. But now she seemed a little more confident with herself around him, even if Caden didn't notice. He smiled at her as she bounced off and lurked around him. "Actually I've only been here a couple of days. But my sister has been here since she was born, about a year or so I think." He answered happily, enjoying a nice conversation that didn't include someone hurting him, either emotionaly or physicaly. He sure enjoyed her company more than Terri's or Asi's, and he hadn't even really seen the newer member to the family, Occido. In fact, he didn't recall even seeing him yet.

Aurora continued to walk around him, gradually coming in closer. Nearing the brute enough to sit beside him with a deep thrum echoing from the bowels of reptillian throat. Cranium tilted to one side out of curiousity, listening intently to his story.
"I've lived here my entire life. Ashowan came and got me as an egg a year or so back. No siblings yet, though she's got that Gwee dragon. Puny little thing, so cute."
A backwards glance at the other adult Eidies. One had such a temper. She snorted, looking to Caden again.
"You were here only a few days? Then .. where were you born?"
Curiousity got the better of her. An itch to hear the stories of faraway places, distant lands of fantasy.

Caden had to think a bit. Where was he born? The question came as a surprise, and even more of a surprise for him was that he actually had to try and remember where he was born. Ever since he came to the Eidechse shop some days ago, he had seemed to lose himself. "Where was I born? I'm not really sure, but it wasn't here, I know that. The first thing I remember seeing is a river surrounded by trees, my egg lying between two big rocks. I was born into the wild." As he spoke, his tone changed and so did the look in his eyes. His voice was no longer child-like, always positive and upbeat no matter what, and now it was deeper, more mature. His eyes seemed to hold more than they had the past few days, filled with knowledge of the outside world, beyond cities and towns. "I grew up in the wild. I remember that one day I was being chased by men, or something, I'm not sure what. I found this place and when I saw others like me I just came in and took a nap. Sometime later V woke me up and offered to keep me."

Aurora's eyes widened, true awe shining through them. The gleam marring those occuli was lined with wonderment, with awe, with a type of deep-down admiration. Caden, this big blue brute before her, was a survivor. A wild thing. A creature who stole a look at what the world was really like. Her eyeridges furrowed at the thought of him behing chased by men. Who would dare to try and harm a fellow of their kind? Why? What purpose would it serve. She started to ask this but remembered ... that he didn't remember much about his life as it was. He probably wouldn't remember that.
"You're a survivor. To go through that ... Brave." She eyed his siblings and shook her head. The corner of bright orbs focused back on Caden. "And they mock you ... Whereas you actually were out there and got a taste of the danger that most of us are afraid to even see. The only thing we've ever been through - anybody in my family has been through .. was that whole Gambino mansion incident."
A shudder.
"Bloody zombies."

Once Blade had caught up with the tumbling lizards, he found them staggering slightly, dizzy from that little stunt. Shaking his head, he crouched down by them. Shivak was trying to get away from the other so he could just relax or something like that, but Serwa still had quite a bit of energy in her.
Luckily for him, she found something else to amuse her; her tail. For soon enough, she began to chase it...
A little bewildered by this behaviour, Blade tilted his head to the side and shook it slightly.
"What are you, a dog?"
Standing up straight again, he glanced behind him to see a much larger Eidechse nearby. From the looks of him, the lizard was fully grown. So with a small grin, he waved over at him.

Caden snapped out of his slight daze, a blank look on his face as Aurora spoke to him about being a survivor and how his family mocked him. "The only thing you can do in the wild is survive. And I was born there, yes I know what it's like, the nights when you're young and you hear the hoot of an owl or the screech of a rodent as it breathes it's last and you're to terrified to move or even breath yourself and fatigue finally makes you sleep. I know fear rather well, but the ones here, most of them probably, don't know it and don't want to know it. You can't blame them, Eidechse like Asi were raised in the shelter of the shop. The most danger she probably faced was the Gambino mansion incident as well, or just by being with either Nova, Illdon or Asellus at one time or all together." He replied in a cool tone.
He gave a sort of abrupt laugh suddenly, an air of good nature placed upon his face. "Well, it seems I have lost myself upon arriving here and found myself talking to you. I thank you for that Aurora." He said to her in a grateful tone, tail swishing happily now.

Aurora pulled back her head to stare down her muzzle at the massive Caden. He was thanking her. She looked at him as though he were an alien, then tilted her head sideways. A faint blush of rose against her cheeks, somehow shining through the pale lavender. An obvious hint of her flattery. Something ...
"Oh, uh ... ehe ... "
The fae found something interesting on the ground to stare at. She pawed at the dirt with claws, sighing softly.
"You're right, though. Creatures like me - we've been raised in captivity our whole lives. Never seen danger, been chased by fiends to live to tell the tale, as you've done. I mean ... the most I've ever been through was the first Gambino party. Ashowan dragged me to that when I was still a child, an effort to get me to see the sights from a young age. But it all backfired. The mansion went kablooey and I wound up dragging her zombified self out of the rubble."
She thrummed something. Her own voice grew deeper, concentrated. Not once did she look up.
"And then everything went haywire. Plots and devils revealed, enemies appearing from the night. Gambino's madness, the twins, Grunnies, Jack and Santa. Ashowan started getting protective of me. Very protective. When Ian was almost killed, Sho wouldn't let me out of her sights. Told me she'd keep me safe and wouldn't let me get hurt by anything. When she had to go places and do some sort of .. job ... Sho'd leave me here to be taken care of. Of course, I was young then. Even now I'm no bigger then her. Small enough to be hurt - and with Gino lurking gods-knows where ..." A pause. Her eyes narrowed. "But something ... else is bothering her. About her past ...? Somebody she loved got hurt? And she doesn't want the same to happen to me."
Massive cranium shook. Lavender female of pink streaks looked up at Caden with a grin. "But I'm due for a growth spurt. Soon I'll be as big as you." A frown. "Yegods, sorry. I'm rambling."

Raist grinned slightly at the comment about his crustly elder. However, he couldn't help but chuckle deeply when he started to picture it in his mind. Shaking himself out of his little theatre in his mind he tried to reply but couldn't keep the humorous note out of his voice. "Yes...for all we know his scales are cracking off, but he'd never know cause all the bum does is sleep...But if what you are saying is true, then why ARE you watching over Caden? Terri growing soft?" Another light chuckle. He had to admit he was enjoying their little conversation...if you could call the exchange of thinly veiled insults that in the first place. Perhaps this place wasn't filled with complete idiots after all. "You're right. I couldn't. But at least I don't kill myself trying." Growing stiff from sitting he flopped down onto his stomache, his forearms crossed before him and his tail coiling up by his side. "On a different note, what brings you to this little shop of horrors? It is all to odvious you weren't born here, you're too sharp..."
Nova blinked when the human turned around and waved him over. Tilting head to the side curiously the quills atop his head fanned out slightly with the motion. Blinking for a moment he stood, slowly making his way over to where they were, careful not to spook the little ones. He sat down when he'd reached the human's side and continued to switch from watching the little ones to blinking down at the human. For once he wasn't being the spastic pain in the butt he normally was, he was just...calm...a word that would normally never describe the childish adult.

Voices. Loud voices. Annoying voices. Waking from his slumber, the large lizard growled deep in his throat. He glanced below him from his perch atop a large tree - the only one he could find that would hold his weight - and glared down in the direction of the creatures he heard. "Mind keeping it down a bit, eh? How's a gent supposed ta get any sleep 'round 'ere?"
Astaldos tail flicked back and forth as it hung from the branch he laid on. He could tell from the voices that there was a male below him, and a female not far away. His blind eyes were no longer of use to him.
Flicking his tongue in and out quickly, staldo tried to pick up the scent of his travelling compainion, Aion. But the young lizards scent was nowhere to be found and Tal sighed heavily. Stupid little brat, I told 'im to stay with me. Tha' boy needs ta grow up! One would think his size would match his state of maturity.

Grinning at the grown lizard, Blade crossed his arms and just watched the two young ones. Having never met Nova before, he really had no idea that the Eidechse next to him was normally very childish.
Serwa noticed the much larger lizard in the area after awhile. Tilting her head, she darted away from her friend and skidded to a halt at the claws of Nova.
"Creah?" she asked, though who knows what she wanted.
As for Shivak, he was just relaxing in a shaded area, not really wanting to meet with the adult Eidechse right now. So he just laid on his side and rolled onto his back for a bit. Other than that, he didn't really move too much right now.
