The light colored male's blue eyes became sad when he heard the pup's story. Slowy, as not to scare her, he crawled towards her on his belly, hesitantly lifting his muzzle to rest it on her neck, behind her jaw, in a comforting manner. His eyes taking on a pained expression, he softly said, "As, I see why you do not like humans. I understand, but not fully. I never had a real pack, only my two brothers, one sister, and my parents. But, one day my older brother and I had run away from the den to play in the nearby creek, when we heard dogs barking. I was about your age, then. Running back to the den, we saw the human that worked in the fields by the den. I could also see my parents, running. They had chosen to flee. I don't know what happened to my other siblings, but the human saw my brother and I. He came after us on his old workhorse. As we ran my brother was... My brother was shot down. The iron stick had shot one of the iron seeds, it hit him in the back of the neck. But I kept running, I had to. I hid in a hollow under a fallen log, and was able to escape. Only a few days later, I was caught in the metal teeth. Then my human found me... See, though, I was once very like you. But, I learned to trust the humans. Now, I love my human more than I loved my brother. She is my pack, now"

The pup sidled behind a bush, despite knowing that the others knew he was there. It was always safer to listen from a distance. It had never crossed his mind that such a thing may have a term - eavesdropping. But his intentions were pure enough that he felt no guilt at his actions, and he hunkered down to listen, flopping his head onto his paws.

Large paws carried the mainly cream and soot hued pup over the uneven and scent filled terra. Nostrils were constantly working and head scanned back and forth two inches above the grass. The young female had already heard the voices and smelled the smells coming from others not so far off. But obviously they didn't interest her all that much.

Golden lanterns gave a quick glance over her shoulder towards the white/silver hair woman some yards off who stood by the encloser gate. Poofy tassle gave a small flick and the curious being went back to her exploring, not giving much acknowledgement to those she came into some sort of contact with unless they were to acknowledge her first.

Large ear twitched and flicked as the little snarls from someone somewhere to her right. Head lifted up and she gave a look-around before spotting the two pups...and the fireflies. Those interested her a great deal.

Creeping along on her belly, rump slightly in the air, the female made a short dash and did a fox-like pounce of a firefly that blinked in the grass. No attention was paid when she did it, and probably landed either half way or completely on one of the pups.

Now they had the pup's attention. Standing up straight, ears and tail high, the female raised her hackles a bit in retaliation to the snarls. Audit turned towards the left and eyes drifted from the female to the male as he moved right in front. Towards his smile, hackles lowered and a small eye-roll and sneer was given to the female.

" 'Lo..." she said to the male. Her tail went into an arch behind her, showing some uncertainty, but no more hints of agression.

Jessah giggled a bit running over and leaping onto keirans back cuasing him to jolt and yelp running off with his legs between his legs thinking kira or eamaza were attacking him for no reason again. They were doing that alot lately, he didnt know why either, maybe they were just playing with him.

ANd of course it was just play.

A small blue puppy snuk her way around the enclosure. She had chasing a cricket earlier, but the sneaky little bug managed to slip away.
