Another unfortunate update for my family. Last friday my mom called the police to kick him out. We have an emergency protection order (EPO). My dad went against it & now he's currently in jail. While as this does come as a relief, my father is crazy rich & he can buy the best lawyers in the province. He's hellbent & wants to kill my mother. We are safe for shure until thursday. But nutil then...is it a good idea to run?

Rules? Well since you are following your human nature, your innate senses, you'd love someone if they deserved it right? If your sis doesn't deserve it then it makes sense not to love her.
See we instinctively want to follow our nature. Plants and some animals don't even deal much with their young (most die before they can. some species don't, however.)
I agree that one day your sister could grow to respect you because she feels so shadowed and competitive. You don't have to love her now, but just wait and see - your respect for each other might bloom.
Mine did with my older and younger sisters - it took YEARS.

If your parents are not treating you right then you have to tell someone who can help you. The worst thing you can do is not tell anyone. Call the cops and get your self out of there.

I know that what people are saying is a good idea, but it isn't always as easy as just calling the cops or something, try talking to The Samaritans or something on a website untill you become confident to get some help because it is quite a scary thing to do, to have to talk to people over the phone about some things that you may not feel comfortable about saying.

You can say you love someone, sure. But those who you truly care about are your real family. Blood does not always equal love. You choose your friends; not which family you happen to be born into.

Everything seems to have calmed down for the time being. My father is on antidepressants & is seeking counceling. I don't know if it's enough but it is definetely a start!!

personally, this is how I interpret it; When it says "love your family", it is pertaining to the family you have chosen and created. It is like a reminder to honor the love you hold for them as passionately as you do the hate you hold for another. Love and hate passionately.

I think it depends on yourself. There isn't a set rule on 'deserving love,' you decide what is worthy.

I believe there's something about 'no self-deceit' around somewhere. If you don't love them, then don't. False love is one of the worst things you can ever get into.
On the topic of parents 'doing stuff' get something sharp and keep it with you.... or call the cops.

It depends on what you truly wish to do. Perhaps wait a while, let events fold out, try to work it out. Do not do anything against your nature. If you want to get out, then escape. If you want to hold on, do so. Just follow your instincts.

Most of them arent powerful enough to kill (Unless you hit them somwhere like right in an eye, temple, jugular or some other pressure points) or cause great bodily harm, but they will cause extreme amounts of pain especially if you use the gold ultra-ballistics ammo they make for them.
